It is sufficient to pay for your entire M.Tech fees and personal expenses. Lets you stay independent. M.Tech will also provide a project on which you will be working for M.Tech thesis. Please don't leave your existing job without analysing your situation. I had no dependents on my income and was confident about my minimum Gate result that's why could take that step. My opinions are based on Gate 2020. Most of the things will be same but something might have changed a bit. Please analyse current scenario.

DIT is not tier 3 college it is tier 2 college as it has good companies coming to it. Regularly students clear packages of 15 lakhs
