You were missing a pair of clutch plates for sure, new sprockets are available, do not understand installing used sprockets, I have restored a 1979 YZ80 to show quality, lots of new parts are available for the yz80's.

I believe you will be good on the crank situation as i had the same problem years ago with one of my rebuilds.I wonder if you have room to turn down the rotor and maybe a thinner washer? I like the early year yz80s. Also maybe a three wheeler seat base rubber or a side cover rubber ( for exhaust side ) may work

Yamaha did not use the 4 bolts, most likely honda bolts.
Curious to where you are located? You do customer work?
Do you sell these when youre done refurbishing them?
