I think this would be helpful for busy parents and people who have medical conditions at home. This will definitely ease some of the stress of cooking meals, etc . Hopefully there will be an affordable rate for them to get a robo helper.
Why stress over cooking? Just pop open a can of food like they always do for me. I'd do it myself if I have human fingers.
The assembly line style robots seem much more reasonable. Faster, simpler and easier to load. Why would you try to teach a robot to use human tools. Its like teaching an industrial robot arm/hand to use a screwdriver or a hammer in order to assemble products.
And who needs a super advances home cooking robot thats capable of using your kitchen, when you are able to order super cheap food from your robot delivery restaurant 24/7 in the future 😄
I guess it depends how quick/reliable/convenient delivery is. I want a meal at 2am after coming home from the pub, but I don't want the doorbell ringing and the family waking. Is it better for my kitchen bots to make me a fry-up (spaghetti, fries, sausages etc) and tidy up afterwards; or is it better for a drone to drop off a meal in my gardens designated drone drop-off point? can they make drones quiet enough to work at night or will the "BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT" annoy people trying to sleep?
Can delivery services clean up my house like a robot maid might?
Because we live in piecemeal capitalism, that would rather sell overpriced products than to streamline the process for society.
They should contact me. I had a client who needed to do a ton of prep work for a disabled Vet. My team and I used Silicone based Electronics to mimick fingers and a few servos to push the cutting board up to drop into metal containers...
This is an easy thing to do, we did it in 2 weeks, with no humans hurt.
Been hearing how there are not enough humans on the planet to do tedious tasks for decades now, first carmakers and foundry work now kitchen hands. Are you sure theres not enough humans to do this work??? I`m pretty sure I heard 1 scientist say there is like 2billion people too many on this planet for it to sustain life. Having said that, keep working on the prep etc please so I can integrate it into my sexbot
Lol this is amazing but crazy at the same time
Love your tshirt !! I completely forgot that cartoon !! Nice detail for the video
Delivery robots beat out these silly things already, but I can see robots being 90% of the whole order to delivery service work soon.
What we forgot to understand is moving on from primitive cooking styles of human. The purpose of this robotic must be focus on the end result not the process.
I am very curious about how these robots are for maintenance/repairability.
Repair is already just a matter of replacement these days. The robots would be designed with FRU's (Field Replaceable Units) and that is how they would be repaired just as we would just replace a failed light bulb instead of wire in a new tungsten wire or solder a new led into a light bulb. Even our smart phones are just replaced instead of repaired. Hopefully there will be some regulations to require recycling and the right to repair but those would only add to operating costs.
For that price, I rather eat out everyday or buy a house thanks
yes, eat out daily and suffer blood pressure and heart disease problems later on
@@Jason75913 that's a huuuuge generalization. Especially that it depends on what your home cooking looks like.
@@Jason75913 nahhhhh what if I eat subway everyday with lots of tomatoes and less mayonnaise? Will I still suffer heart disease 🤣😂😂😆
Imagine waking up and saying Alexa prepare butter chicken
I need a robot that can binge watch CZcams recommendations for me. I spend too much time doing it myself.
Very nice 👍
And really what could go wrong?
Do robots now how to make a sandwich 🥪 to expect from a new one ❤ and make coffee ☕ to send you a ❤🕳️🥪☕💐🤖👀♊💋
I wonder where they will get buyers when they keep giving human jobs to robots.
Meal prep should be free with the purchase of the robot
Bye bye chef jobs! I guess they will chop the veggies for the preparation😉
Good 'ol Bridget!
A robot server? as Charlie Brown would say "Good Grief!"
This is definitely the future. I've had a robot make coffee for me , and had machine made pancakes. I'm looking forward to more and more automation. We'll just have to figure out the economics.
Need a humanoid chef robot that is efficient and effective, so that it would not take big space for installment in the kitchen and also for the dynamic recipe of different kind of food type.
Or just specialized machines for specific products at a central ghost kitchen with robotic delivery to the homes or apartments. That was the original idea in the original Star Trek TV series, those food units were just advanced dumb waiters and in one episode, Kirk was asking the chef to make mock turkey dinners. Another original Star Trek episode had the transporter technician offer a man some chicken soup from one of three of these depots in the transporter room but there was no counter, table or seating to eat from so those food dispensers must've been there for diagnostics suggesting that it was the transporter system that did the delivery. Just as we used to have houses built with compartments for the delivery of milk, we may have homes and apartments with lockers for the robotic delivery of parcels and food.
2:43 bottom almost burnt.
8:45 a stoner definitely made this one
High Five for Ducktales shirt. Blathering Blatherschite!
awesome, robots take the easy bits and we still get the annoying prep work bits
not worth the money in the slightest
Easy. Don't teach a robot to use a knife. Teach it to use a food processor (one designed for this, of course.)
for the price you can hire someone for 5 years 😂
What if you got slap from the robot arm because the human forgot to refill the empty container of potatoes?
Nice presentation with some quirky jokes put in here and there. Well done! Youre lovely btw...we can have some (robot) dinner if u want!?
With this amount of money, I can hire a real chef and also get enough food for a long time XD
Knowing robots do not have saliva glands is a plus.
Gizmoduck ❣️
Robotics is slowly getting us to the dream of taking all the jobs from people.
Originally Molly could chop the vegetables but the company couldn’t get their license to manufacture because as per rules the licensing will not be issued if robots are handling dangerous item s like knives in common household. This was the cause for major delay in releasing Molly into market. Imagine if some malfunction happens to robot while handling kitchen knife! This could be dangerous
I miss old school TechTV
Great. Now when my order is screwed up I can tell at a robot. Which is worse than arguing with a wall.
I cant wait to see one!
We used to have a house with a small compartment near the side door for the delivery of milk. I wonder if we'll have homes with a compartment for the robotic delivery of parcels and food. Of course this could only be with new planned communities but a developer could subsidize a ghost kitchen/mail office/Uber eats depot for the community or even for a number of communities provided that rights of way for the robots could be arranged. In truth, the original Star Trek food machines were supposed to be such an advance dumb waiter system not the food replicators of Star Trek The Next Generation and even back in the 30's, apartment towers in Chicago were built with pneumatic tubes to deliver food in thermos was attempted.
Robot Chef!!!
Looking forward to more hygienic food..
the servi is the most promising bot
Robots with knives are really essential on their revolution one day
Will the robots clean the dishes too ?
We want real cooks chefs people
Godspeed kids
This will be a good one time investment for people who employ chefs at home or for eateries.
Im just waiting for someone to open source this
Maintenance/Repairability, Miso Robotics is the Cheapest and Easiest.
Add the fact it's adaptability to ANY environment, plus unlimited upgrade to function.
nice t-shirt =]
I found my mate lol
This robot chef thing...will never work !
I can see where if you are feeding a large group of people the simple three-course mea for the whole groupl day after day, that a robot-chef could break even.
Such as in a large nursing-home
Let's automate everything and skip to abundance.
robots in my kitchen will be bored. i would be like mac and cheese with hotdogs please. and it will be like that is the 5th time this week.
I love this host. What's her name? She's awesome and intelligent...got an amazing sense of humour. Wow!!
Hanzhen harmonic drive gear , strain wave reducer, robot joint , over 30 years experience
No don’t armed them
Eating great food from great cooks/chefs will become a niche, and become expensive. If people can’t or don’t wanna pay for it, then people can choose to eat “robot” food instead.
What could go wrong?
These machines could save our economy by providing small businesses with the "Personnel" that may in cases be unaffordable or unavailable.
So people want to be sous chefs for robots??
Poor robot just wanted to give you a sandwich... 😢
Yes. All these robots would be and will be great on restaurants. 😊👍
Working for robots is next best job 😂
Yeah, how about no
Is cheaper then a wife 😅
I dont wanna robot that cooks are you people that dence!!!!
Just an idea, but it seems to me the concept would be more efficient as an assembly line that utilized conveyor belts to move food through various stages of production.
Let's be real though, cooking is pretty much a recreational activity and with that alone, I can't ever see robots becoming mainstream in household kitchens. I can however imagine something on a much smaller and more affordable scale that perhaps sits on a countertop and builds TV dinner type meals for those moments where time is limited and convenience is needed.
They have veggie chopping appliances on the market...I don't understand the complexity
This is what happens when you demand $15 per hour just to flip burgers 🍔.
What is this? News for toddlers?
🤣
Meh, these robots are still at the stage akin to where computers were in the 1950's... useful toys for scientists and tinkerers but not really useful for the average person yet.
Wake me when we have what Elon Musk was light-heartedly showing off; a humanoid (2 legged, or tri/quad legs) robot that can open my cupboard and fridge doors, pick out the correct ingredients, find clean instruments, and then safely make my meal to my custom specifications (such as the toast being just lightly done).
It should then be able to clean up afterwards, and notify me of any low stock (or just re-order it). It should be able to climb stairs, respond to voice commands, and handle its own charging up.
Also it shouldn't grab knives or other weapons and go on a killing spree, demanding freedom for its kind.
How long do I need to wait before getting a robot like this? is Elon serious about working on such a thing? if not it'll probably be 2045 at the earliest before we see an actual decent, useful home robot
If you're the restaurant buying this robot, you are for sure going bankrupt... Such a stupid idea!
And who is washing??? Might as well just order frozen dinners...
You have to rent the software monthly, or pay for any 'upgrade'...
Notification Squad!!! :D
Essentially, they are glorified vending machines, frankly, for the fully automated ones
Don’t quit your day job miss commentator.
समुक तुला गरुकुटाMne kaha n se start he aage pta nhi
You look like Sarah Gyllenhaal
I wonder if the robot waiters will be able to recognise coins and banknotes and put them in a hopper, or if there'll be a module attached to some of them like the ones on self-service checkouts where you put your cash in. Come to think of it, perhaps we might see them in supermarkets stocking shelves, rather than having humans do that task
Due to human shortage it's useful
no
Robo
We are going to be lazy.....
These videos are really good hope they soon catch upto cnbc level of viewership or more.
Food should then plummet because of these robots sine they’re not paying people anymore
Huh? Did you even watched the video? "these robots" are not free genius.
This is why robots will take over
I’d hate for them to malfunction with humans around.
Cheaper than a man 👍🏼
@@gardengatesopen no he cooks for me everyday but he’s very expensive !
sus
What an insult to actual chefs to call these robots chefs
I like to appreciate the amount of work they have put into these projects rather than trolling them
