How To Use Windshield Wipers In A Car-Driving Tutorial

- In this video, I show you how to use windshield wipers in a car. If you're driving in the rain, it is essential that you use your windshield wipers. With that being said, I outline EXACTLY how to use them. I demonstrate the process in my Mazda 3, but most cars have a windshield wiper lever that functions in a similar way. I go over the slow and fast setting, as well as the intermittent/automatic mode that many cars have!

Yeah mine neither, and sad thing about it is that can cause accident if you dont know how to turn it on. Firstly, you can concentrate on turning fkin wipers on while you're driving and by the second of non-attention, it can lead to accident. Secondly, rain/snow can already make your way unvisible until you figure-out how to turn it on...
@@Mnbvcxylk . . . You wont fail your road test for not knowing how to use windsheild wipers but the situation that you mentioned is the only exception. At least in my case.

The part that just doesn’t make sense to me is the intermittent vs continuous. Like is there any reason to use intermittent with a short break instead of just continuous? It just seems redundant to me. I guess typically is intermittent just supposed to be used if there is only a minor drizzle and you just need an occasional wipe instead of them going and going? In that case I might as well just leave the intermittent delay at a preferred setting and just use it as a lower low right?

Never switch to Auto when not needed. It may cause mishaps when cleaning your windshield. In some countries, gas stations has free windshield cleaning while filling up your tank. When water is sprayed on your windshield, the wipers may automatically activate and can cause damage or injury to the gas attendant.
