After finishing 3rd at Sochi 2014, the United States two-man and four-man bobsleigh teams finally received their upgraded silver medals following disqualifications due to doping. The parents of late driver Steven Holcomb, who passed away in 2017, accepted his medals on his behalf.

These videos could be improved instantly by not stating the results in the title, particularly for people who can't remember the results of Olympic events from several years ago.

yo what about the British 4 man crew who got bronze, their medal meant that we actually got 5 medals in Sochi, not 4

What about that amazing story about the Jamaican bobsled team?

That's a different story. This series is for those athletes and teams who were awarded upgraded medals when the IOC and WADA found there were athletes who cheated to win.

@@ECsponger2 They did, but only because it was unusual for a Caribbean country to send a group of athletes for a winter sport. This is about a team that was wronged.

These people did not deserve a video, they already had a medal. Those who really deserve this video are those who earned the Bronze medal because they worked hard but became of cheating they missed out, so they really deserve a video to see their joy for getting the medals.

Actually the US Bobsled Team absolutely deserved a video about them. Steven Holcomb went into a deep depression after the Sochi Games and ended up dying from overdose. He deserved this upgraded medal more than anyone else in the event.

Russia had a state-sponsored doping program in a throwback to the Soviet era. That is the reason why WADA, the IOC and all of the other sports federations are banning Russia from international competition for at least the next four years and won't be invited to Tokyo.
