I’ve read up on the Aerotrain. Sleek and interesting of design, but it’s suspension is noisy and bouncy. The cars were made from widened bus bodies. The engine had an operating inflexibility, and its power may even have been lacking. A B-1 wheel arrangement!?

I recently installed this on my T:ANE program, and I love it. Looks great, runs great, and really adds something to the layout in general. Posted a couple of videos of it if interested. Mind you, these were right after I installed Aerotrain, so I was kind of fascinated, LOL. I will probably have a small fleet of Aerotrains on my route.

I would love to see a modern made HO scale model of the Aerotrain. You'd just need the front engine, a coach and the back car with wings! Any model company out there listening???

I saw a movie of the actual Aerotrain with sound and the horn actually sounded like a deep ocean liner's horn rather than a train horn.
