Hell's Gate Geothermal Walk and Mud Pool and Baths in Rotorua

Where myth and legend live on.
This is an awe inspiring place - once used by Māori warriors to heal their battle scarred bodies it is now open to visitors to enjoy. The natural healing properties of the nutrient rich waters and mud have been used for the last 800 years and well worth a visit. Plus I cant think of anything more relaxing.
Such a beautiful place and quite otherworldly.
As said by Irish Playwright George Bernard in 1934 "This could be the very gates of Hell".
