Hi thanks, my main test comes from LG C2, with HGIG, I prefer HGIG in a dark room for this game, yet it might be too dark for some and they prefer DTM on, but that's over righten
Just started to notice the ghosting issues 15 hours into my playthrough after putting on a white mask that makes the ghosting very noticeable lol I'm guessing this is just a game issue and no way to fix completely? I did notice its less annoying with motion blur on. Great video btw.
Yes, it's not there all the time if you don't pan too much and happens mostly around reflective areas, and yes no way to fix, a game issue but isn't that bad! Thanks.

I have LG c2. Tried quality mode with vrr on, I still prefer the 60fps of the perfomance mode. 40fps+ looks like a 30fps for me tho

Hi, SDR is brighter and has a bit more contrast and that is normal as shown on side by side comparison, there's no option to fix that as steps are huge, but isn't bad overall.

Hi, I test HDR from the capture card which is native 1000nits (or 4000 if I select that) for the other references, I use an LG C2, a QN90B, and a G27Q.
2500nits should always be maxed in games, Resident Evil Village looks insanely good at maxed out HDR settings
Hi, we really need an option to adjust the max TBH! I know most mid range TVs are 1000nits, but some are 2000, some QLEDs are above 2000, some monitors are under 600nits, so yeah, you're right we should be able to max it out, or it should use PS5 system calibration for peak brightness.
@@DanielZH what is the peak nits on ”RE Village?” Another question also, why is my TV according to the specs maxed out at 500 peak nits but it gets way WAAAYYYY brighter and still retains bright details with no bleed up to 2500nits? Also this is mostly apperant when using “HDR PLUS” functionality on my Philips PUS8517/12 Gaming TV

hi I have a question I play in performance mode on ps5 and lg oled c9 I always activate the VRR but I deactivate the 120hz in the ps5 menu to be able to always stay in 60hz (RGB 444) would I have sparkle in VRR 60hz? from what I have read it only does it above 60hz (100h, 120hz...) thank you in advance for your answer
Hi, as far as I tested, VRR wasn't flickering in 60Hz, only in 120Hz (at least on my LG C2 and Samsung QN90A and G27Q Monitor) so you can see if you get a little close and if you don't notice flickering then it's fine.
@@DanielZH thank you very much for the confirmation on the other hand I did tests between VRR on and off on dark scenes almost black for example in the DLC ada wong resident evil 4 which is very dark, in 60hz with vrr we lose details in the shadows while with vrr off the gamma becomes normal again, it's weird

I've seen you joined the channel, yes in some games, using VRR changes the gamma base floor which makes near-black levels too dark and that actually comes to TVs rather than games in some cases, as when I check the RAW video in capture card, they look fine, so you're right, some games lose and blend shadow details in darks when using VRR, I forgot to mention or test that but will consider it for the next videos.

Hi, in online games, are too many factors, having ports forwarded (open) for the game, your delay, controller delay, PS5 HDCP settings (Off) and many more! soon I'll make a video about how to reduce delay on PS5, but I was trying to say there are a lot of things affecting that. + some games typically have higher input delay from controller depending on the console.

@@user-zs9tf2ui4x that's for HDMI, it decreases picture input Delay to the screen by 3-25ms depending on the game, it may not affect bullet directly but it affects the delay you get until you see the picture

@@karengarciabeats7869 Hello again, I recommend playing on SDR for this monitor, and RGB settings on 49-46-40for the correct color accuracy. also use 1440p on PS5 instead of 4K.

So using vrr with max framerate causes flicker same as in last of us any ideas how to fix it
Sometimes these flicker issues (Based on VRR) are caused by the game, can't be fixed as far as I know (sadly)
Do you make settings for Series X?
I don't have an Xbox ! I cover the settings but some like Dolby vision or audio are different, the rest are the same, however I think even HDR looks the same on both consoles!
Is the lighting on lies of p on HDR less or more

Hi, are the console settings set to 120Hz Automatic mode? have you checked to set the resolution to Automatic too?
@@DanielZH yeah i put it in automatic both and nothing, i think is a bug.
In my case it's the other way around. I want to play on quality mode and if i enable 120hz on PS5 the game forces me to play HFR mode even I disabling it. Its annoying :(
Also, make sure you play this in a dark room.

Does your screen support 120Hz in 4k? however the game is upscaled and doesn't provide native 4K
FYI LG C1 or C2 cant reach 1000 nits, so you're not getting the full HDR potential of the game.
True! C2 is around 800 nits that's why I mentioned I'm fine with losing a bit of details and clipping in highlights!
My TV is the G3 and boy this game loves its peak brightness kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk I'm glad my TV can handle the peak brightness without any clipping at all but I'm not used to games that actually demand higher than 1000 nits. AFter awhie you get used to it...

It’s piss me off, why studio doesn’t make a right hdr settings ? Why some studios are doing perfect hdr with true black and great brightness, and some others are just bad with washed black… It’s not the most difficult part it’s just post processing…. It’s like they just don’t care… not professional.

it does have 3 modes: 30-40 and 60FPS mode. but not max settings!
