- In this video I talk about all the candles that I finished up during the coronavirus lockdown. I finished a lot of candles that have just been sitting in my collection not getting any use. Some of these are not my favorites and I state that in my video.

You honesty is refreshing. I have to melt my hour glass Woodwick candles under a melting lamp. I have an old Yankee Vanilla Lime from when their candles had a throw.

I remember when Woodwick candles were great 😭 Fireside is my absolute favorite, I have a large hourglass of Fireside that burns well, so I only burn it on the most special occasions to make it last. Lol

Great empties...Happy 4th.....funny that you are having your hair done to go silver when many of us are trying to keep away from it...Looks great.....I finished a few Root candles this month which I hardly ever say that I finish a candle because so many take a long time to get through....I have had a few Homeworx recently that have burned nice and I could smell but I have had my share of the duds in the past..Love the jars you have there..I passed on those because I wasn't sure I was going to like them..Looks like it was a good choice.....I agree that the Elevation are great but I don't always love all their scents. It is a gamble for me because I don't live near a store so I usually only buy if they are on sale.....I wish Yankee could get their act together because I love their fragrances....Unbelievable that the WW large jar gave you trouble to pool...so sad because they were so great...I do have many to burn that I bought last year but I may just put them under the lamp because I do like the WW scents better than the Elevation...LOL..to your reaction on Trick or Treat...I do the same thing...I love the Homeworx Limencello too..I want them to bring it back.

Thanks so much for your empties review, there were a couple in there I wasn't sure on. I totally agree with the tall woodwick candles, won't burn properly or takes hours (so frustrating). That's why I love their ellipse candles instead. Fun video, thanks for sharing. Keep well and keep safe 😁

Another great review! I have been trying to burn up the candles that I have. The Yankee Elevation candles is my favorite line by them. I just finished up a Amaretto Apple one. It was good and strong. Looking forward to your scentsy haul. I order from Lisa Rowberry and John Sparks they both know a lot about scents and recommendations.

I loved Yankee Candle many years ago . They had good throw & really nice scents . Too bad they changed . Stores are closing . I bought several candles from Homeworx & was not pleased at all . Ended up giving them away. The wicks burned high no matter how short & very little throw . I love 1820 House thanks to you :) I've bought from Melissa several times & have been very pleased . I did get an order from Vancouver Candle that I have yet to open the package . Looking forward to trying them. Happy 4th to you too!

I wish I could burn some candles here in Singapore but in 38C, it would be crazy. Well, we still have the air-cons but it isn't the same hahaha !

I have a closet full of Yankees that I HATE burning now because they have no throw ! I started replacing my collection with jo Malone and Diptyque .. will never go back
Hold up! I have that capri blue candle!! Like a mini one. And I agree it burns grossly af --I thought I was doing something wrong!!!! Gohdamn but I lovvvved the smell :(

Wonderful reviews. I think Root is the bomb! I agree about Kringle... I have given then way too many chances and I experience the same soot and high flames no matter what. I recently bought the 3 wick soy blend and they are atrocious with murky wax and puny wicks. Done with them.
Yuck! It’s sad that so many companies have great fragrances but they have a bunch of bad qualities.

I’m watching this a year later but no shame 🤣 Yankee really has just gone downhill. I love thag they burn so clean but the scent in the large jars just isn’t there. I want to try Limoncello Cupcake from Homeworx and hope he brings it back. Do more candle empties for sure!

The elevation candles are soooo strong! I only like one scent though 😩 Velvet woods. I got 14🤣 They take forever to pool though 😩

I think yankee depends on the person, I never have throw issues with mine. But I don’t care for super strong throwing candles. I just like a light fragrance

I'm taking notes here cuz the candle game is changing; Yankee Candle has BEEN junk and I need to restock my candle stash with the good good.

Been wanting to try that newer Yankee line , funny I picked up a large Sugared Wildflowers from TJMaxx for 12$! Not bad. So bummed Yankee is still on the shit show train. It saddens me. Of course we want the OLD YANKEE BACK. YC is where I found my love for candles. Love Milkhouse,, I too found those jars at TJ’s. I do enjoy DW home Warm tobacco pipe, Sandalwood & Myrrh and Hickory Clove are really great cool weather candles too. DW’s Honey lavender is a go too and a Wild honey nectar. I gave yankee a fair shot now I have to use my candle lamp on the 5 remaining ones I have. Thank god I only have 5 I feel bad for the people who have hundreds. I will be purchasing my first elevations soon😊
You should try making your own candles instead of recycling them.
