Izu is definetely one of the places to visit in Japan. Unfortunately missed it during my trip there in 2015, would surely want to go there during my next visit. This road you took is a very beautiful one, through the interior and the west rugged coast of the peninsula. The Izu Peninsula is a place where the entire peninsula is like a tourist attraction. There are many places of interest that even I, a Japanese, am not aware of. When you visit, it might be fun to drive around by car instead of taking the train, without worrying about famous sightseeing spots. Every time I go to Izu, I keep discovering new things.
You do a very good video. I like the pop up info at points of interests. One thing that I have noticed with yours and other dive videos. I do realise that it would at times be minor inconvenience and would most likely increase your time driving by a number of minutes. But there are at times places where there are both a good view of what ever, be it the ocean or a valley view etc and a place to pull in and actually get a quick look at said view. You would only need to point the car at the view and then continue on. There has been several place even in this video where this could have been done with ease. A quick pull over into a viewing spot then of you go.
Thanks for the feedback! The main purpose of my video work is to drive on the road, so I don't stop at tourist spots, but keep driving. Of course, I enjoy sightseeing when I visit places other than for filming. Eventually, I hope to be able to make guide videos of such tourist attractions.

昨年３月、同じコースのドライブを致しました。私にとって最初で最後の岐阜から伊豆へのドライブでした。大変懐かしく、うれしく思いました。来秋には免許証を返納します。良い思い出になりました。
免許を返納される予定なのですね。
いざ自分がそれを決断する立場になったとき素直に返納できるのか考えさせられます。
・・・ので、まだ深刻に悩まずに済む今のうちにたくさんの道路を撮影しようと頑張っています。
岐阜といえば、そろそろ国道41号を再収録しようかと計画中です。
今日も有り難うございます。釣りキチ時代の４０年前、伊豆方面にはよく出かけました、懐かしいです。会社さぼって西伊豆にゴムボートで出港、沖に出て友人と今頃みんな会社でしこしこ働いてるんだろな、なんて話してビールで乾杯ｗしばらくして友人が何だか変な音がするぞというので調べたら中古のゴムボートから空気漏れｗｗあわてて港に帰ったことを思い出します。今は亡き先輩の遺影と一緒に拝見しながらビールですｗｗ長々と失礼しました。有難うございました。
思い出しました。
私も昔気合を入れて国道135・136号と伊豆を走り抜けた日は会社をサボった日でした。
もっと記憶を遡ると西伊豆の何処かで蘭がメインの植物園に行ったなあと思い調べてみたら堂ヶ島洋ランセンターで、2013年に閉園してました…懐かしくもあり寂しくもあり…

恩師の家が南伊豆町の弓ヶ浜近くにありまして、この道（の前半）はよく通りました

観光地にしては交通量は少なく感じますね コロナの影響かな 来年位には是非訪れたいものです 最後に邪魔な車が前を走ってますね
撮影は平日の朝からでしたので交通量も少なかったのかなと。朝7時台だったかな…
