    There is in your video a button "Setup repeater". I think it would be easier to setup.

    Thanks! This worked. I was able to connect my laptop to the repeater, afterwards.
    I however noticed that my mobile devices took longer to connect to the repeater and would not get internet access. Please help.

    Great post, thanks. I would like to connect(using ethernet cable) my new MikroTik HAP lite to my main WIFI router and extend its wifi and network. Would these instructions work? Thanks again!

    Will this work if the main router in my house that the mikrotik repeater will be connecting to is a non-Mikrotik product?

    After the configuration. Do I need to connect my mikrotik router to my laptop using lan cable?

    • @TechTricksZone
      @TechTricksZone  Před 3 lety

      no , you can connect laptop to lan port if you want to use internet with lan port. it will work as network switch and you can connect your desktop, DVR, nvr to mirotik lan port to get internet

    Can I give internet access to my desktop through lan port? After connecting the router to wifi?

    • @magnetto90
      @magnetto90 Před 3 lety

      I don´t want to repeat wifi signal, just want to conect 3 devices through ethernet but using my wifi.

      Me neither, just the bridge dynamic IP assigned by the main router to my Mikrotik cAP lite, nor ping from LAN to the latter...

    • @TechTricksZone
      @TechTricksZone  Před 3 lety

      Mikrotrik itself work as router so no need add another router. just configure in router mode

      Virtaul AP default mode is AP only. just create security profile change SSID name and enjoy

      Make sure your WiFI enabled and its either in Auto channel or using 1-11 number .also make sure you are using both same band. means repeater support 2.4Ghz and AP as well
