Me too. I feel like his anger was justified. He had no control over the life of his daughter when she was alive. He knew that she was in danger before she died. All that made him the way he is

@@rosenovcharov5940 i can relate when one of my best friends get killed on a game or if my pet dog on a game dies i just turn into a cold killer doing unspeakable things to the person or thing that killed him or her or it.
I feel safe when I encounter Jarod because no one can jumpscare me when he’s around

Him shooting me in the taxi happened about halfway through my playthrough of which I hadn't died even once yet. I was stunned this game literally just murdered me so bluntly and it caught me so off guard lol

The amount of times Jarod has jumpscared me, simply by existing in my vicinity, is getting ridiculous
As a person who loves horror games and movies, I really love the vibe of Jerod's chapters. He's kinda cool ngl.

I can smell the morning breath. It was unpleasant.
25:59 the quick cut off of upbeat music and cheerful bat swinging when Jarod arrives is killing me.
But when it happens at night, this (and when he gets angry and tells you to run) was one of the scariest moments in the game.
@OzzyOscy happened to me on my 2nd playthrough and I gotta be honest, was way more intense then the 1st on his cab. I died in the car in my first run, but that trailer lot was remarkable
Jarod is probably the most affected character in the game. You never know what would happen.
He was blinded to see the truth. His hatred lead him to confused path. But in the end, he found peace. Jarod has a good character development.
I like him cause he gives trevor but calm vibes
Jarod is some same from Kenny in the Walking Dead S1,2,3 games and Trevor from Grand Theft Auto.

I like Jarod a lot (Apart from the fact that he's a Serial Killer), you know, every date he has a slight scare, you know?
Seeing Jarod and that Sudden noise scared me the first I saw him was on my second episode and every following one

I knew something was wrong with the hotel encounter when I saw the taxi and heard classical music playing in one of the rooms. Safe to say because of Jarod I have learned to fear the flower duet.

Idk why but I have a strange relationship with him. On one hand he scares the fu** outta me, but somehow I still like his semi calmness semi agressiveness.... He somehow is very comforting and my favourite character... Like he is kinda relatable in a strange way

I run hot and cold with Jarod. I feel terrible for him because of what happened to his daughter, but the man scares the living hell outta me. I love him, though, in the sense that I love creepy characters. He's a good character overall. 😌
Also, he's got some great taste in music!!

I just brought this game yesterday and been obsessed but you freak out when this guy is doing something. My first encounter was luckily with my second teen on my first game at the bar. My second encounter is with my last teen and I ended up freaking out at the taxi scene. Hurry up unlocked the door and ran out.
Jarod is my favorite, very dad vibes idk. Like as long as you’re chill, he’s chill.

In the encounter with Sonya in the motel where you film the meeting between Robert and Adam, ik walked up to one of the doors and I heard Jarod say: I can hear you breathing. That kinda scared me.
Yes I remember that as well. I saw cigarette packs outside one of the guest doors. Lead me straight to Jarod room XD
First encounter with Jarod was after I helped Alex and he gave me a free ride with Happy Taxi…
Jarod almost ended me but I chose die…nosaur not knowing what it meant, but chose it bc I figured I was gonna die anyway and why not choose a silly answer 😂

It's amazing the amount of people I saw who died in that first taxi scene, because they didn't know what to do and thought it would be better to stay in the taxi, to this day I wonder in what universe these people thought staying would be a good idea.

The very first time I encountered Jarod was after I had stolen a car and was driving through the mountains and he was standing in the middle of the road… scared the crap out of me.
I really liked his story and his character arc.

In the fourth even shown in this video, if you somehow trigger this event after the scene between him and Sonya (+ Stan & Mitch if you got lucky enough), the dialog and choices will be a bit different as Jarod will keep his anger focused on the Brigades.

He hates the Black Brigade for the death of lola. But he killed me several times. He is not evil like Trevor Phillips. He is broken like kenny from telltale the walking dead. He is just more than just mass murderer, he is a father of a little girl named lola.

The car I drive has an 8 track and radio. Since I don't have cassettes and everything else on the radio annoys me, I have it tuned to the classical station. Loe and behold, Jarod's eerie song comes on and I'm expecting an irl encounter 😩🤣
My first playthrough, two of my characters got killed by him back to back. By the end of the game with the scenes I came across, Jarod probably had at least 4 or 5 confirmed bodies lol

I love Road 96. Actually I just played this game and I found something interesting 🤔. When I got to the Enjoy The Silence scenario, there's always the "Guy in trunk" and his stuff there with the hat but this time, the hat looked very similar to Robert's and the subtitle had "Robert" in it. I immediately realized that the guy in the trunk was Robert. I don't know how I got that but I think you need to finish 5 teenagers before getting this one. Sorry for the long reply haha 😂😂. Just thought of sharing something interesting.

Unlock the car or honk. You can pause the game and return to menu if Jarod about to shoot you. I did that and I went through a second time. XD
