I finally got a Tamiya Wild one. Although it is old school, it is a joy to build and a fine performer.
In this video I go over my build and take it out to do some testing. - Zábava
Got to appreciate the wild one. Such a nice buggy. I built the Block Head Motors one but now I want the black one. Great video thanks
Yeah, I waited for the black one to be released. Blue just didn’t do it for me. I think I might start tricking it out with scale aluminum wheels and some other pieces. Shame about the dummy motor, but I kinda knew that was coming 😂
Great build brother. Looks awesome. Those kits sure did get us back in the day!!! I'm still prone to the Hornets!!
Thanks!
Thanks for the shout out man. Loved those precision donuts! sucks about the engine cover, it does look good with that.
Yeah, the dummy motor looks nice. Just better to be on something not jumped and crashed.
Wild One and BBX, both awesome buggies!
Agreed!
I always wanted one when I was a kid! I could never understand why no one in my area ever had these. Instead, everyone bought the Fox.
The Fox is on my list, but it was further down than this one!
I have the Fox, love them both. Nice run video also
Thanks. The Fox is on my list… but I’ve always liked the box art more than the actual car. Not sure why. I think it looks beefier, wider, on the box.
Cheers from Zhuhai!
Wow good point. Never noticed the similarities! 💯
Rear trailing arm suspension is shared as well.
I have one. I have video of me running it.
Nice run. Plenty of speed for where you run it
It goes well enough.
I have a 15 t motor in mine.
Brushed?
I accidentally removed your comment answering “brushed” and have no idea how to get it back. Sorry about that. Was just trying to respond “Yeah, brushed is the way to go. It must rip with a 15 turn motor. I can’t imagine it having much steering at speed. lol”
@@bradkalman2353 Or is this comment back. I’m confused 🫤
It steers well enough.
