- Hey everyone. Here is a walk-around video of a 2018 Stage 2+ Tundra. Here at TAV llc, we take late model Toyota trucks and SUV's to the next level. This Tundra is no exception. A much more capable and dependable adventure machine.
I’ve watched this video like three times. My dream truck.
Same. Although I got a Rubicon now after I sold my Tundra... I miss my Tundra, but I love how easily this Jeep gets around in the trails compared to the truck. When I get rich I’ll buy another Tundra and modify it with Walt and his crew’s help. But for now, the Jeep does more than my lifted and BFGd tundra did.

Thank you for your work. I have a 2021 Tundra TRD Pro and when the Mother Of All Short Squeeze happens with GME and AMC. I will drop it off for this project.

@@brennancarter9504 There are several things that can dictate the turn around time. Usually 4-8 weeks or so.
These guys are incredible with the details of how every inch is built with a purpose.

This is Amazing build! I was looking at buy a 23' Tundra but honestly getting a V8 that's modified to my needs by TAV seems like a better way to go.
This build is perfect. Keep it up! Your how and why of some smaller details are awesome! In this video I really like the bed Air compressor info and the fender liner....no one is doing this! Oh and.....looking forward to a walk around on what you have in the background :)

I subscribed after seen what you did for my future truck, the cement Tundra. On that ADD bumper, I was going to pass on it, till I saw it with the LP9 set-up. Might have to go with that RCI skid do. Keep posting please.😁
Finally bought a 2018 toyota tacoma trd off-road, just saving up money to someday call and discuss running a stage 2 setup! Love the work you guys are doing, can't wait to see more!

Great build but would of cut that bumper to match the front fender like you did in back wheel well. Love these trucks. Excellent work

So I'm trying to imagine what the build cost is for the exact build cost for the badass one in this video???? I'm guessing the customer has $125k or more invested in his Tundra from purchasing the truck and total spent on the build. Its very nice great job on building a beast of a Tundra 👍👍👏👏

Best truck period!!! Sick. What would be cool is maybe integrating the receiver into the rear bumper so it’s not so low. My receiver always gets hung up when off roading my tundra.

Yep, just like I ALREADY said before...this AND EVERY ‘off-road’ vehicle NEEDS a GRILLE GUARD!
Mark Hatch NO it does NOT need a grill guard. Your truck might NEED a grill guard. Which is FINE. But ALL of these trucks are built for the INDIVIDUAL that is using the truck and MOST of them do NOT NEED the grill guard.

Tactical Application Vehicles That’s awesome. It gets thumbs up from people often. Sadly, I’m ordering the new Tremor with all the fixings in Star White with the diesel. No chrome. It will look sick, but yeah - I’m still torn. Love my stage 1.

That is one BA looking truck. I love the tundras but like the luxury of the rams (when they are not leaking water into the cab). Wish you would expand to the ram but we will see what the new tundra brings.

Ok, I think I am sold on the Tundra. I need to get my home updating paid off so I can get out of my 230k mi suburban that is killing me in repairs and into something like what these guys are doing. Very nice rig.
9 mo in on owning my 2020 Limited in cement grey, still a good 18mo from starting build though. Oddly, this is the first vehicle I drove off the lot without thinking, asking myself if I made a mistake. I love my tundra, except the jbl sound, thats getting taken care of in about a month and $3k from now.

Awsome build but I would have used a drop-down slide for the fridge I'm 5'7 so I would have to be up on the tailgate to see inside of it. LOL even with the drop-down my short ass would still need to get on the tailgate to see inside of it.
Scott K we used the Alu-cab drop down slide for this one. It’s nice because it tilts towards you as it drops. I’m 5’7” as well and it’s not too bad with the fridge.
How was the fitment on the RKSport Hood?
i would be 100% in on this build. Except I tow a 9000k trailer with a UTV in it. Not sure that rear tire carrier would allow me to turn without jackknifing prematuraly. Overall there is literally NOTHING i would change if i Built this into my truck. Maybe smaller KC flex light bar in front, 30" just lower profile for me. outstanding build.
You can haul any trailer you want with this setup.

I would take this over a raptor any day of the week.

I’m going to install 37” Nitto ridge grappler tire and do I have to Regear? Im not going to tow anything just driving in city and highway. Is stock gear good enough?

Wish I could do my tundra like that. $$. The one thing I would change though is the winch remote plug. Put it on one of the angles. Where it is now if you bump anything you just ruined the plug.

Hows it drive on the street with the LT? Anything you dislike about it? Is suspension noisy? Thinking of redoing my lifted tundra on 37s with bypasses.
When you drill the holes on top of the bumper, do you guys repowder coat of the whole bumper, wants to add some lights on top of my stealth fighter but don’t want to Ruin my bumper powder coat
What bed stiffners did you use ? I have the same truck with a deck system and would like to install some bed stiffners.Love your work ! please keep posting on the Tundras. No one does work on them better than ya !
Do those fenders replace stock using same hardware or is it an overlay to the existing fender?
How’s it changing fluids ? Total cost for up grades nd time frame I also want turbo gene banks and engine control modular
