    Wow, you are amazing! What a work of art. You are an artist with metal dents, very inspiring.
    I have a 22 ft Class C RV, small size. It has a steel bumper in the back, painted white. I backed into a metal pole and created a deep crease in the bumper. The bumper is easily removable from the van, just some bolts.
    I would like to hammer it out and mount it back on. I don't care about the paint as it will be repainted. The bumper is a flat surface, a boxy look. Flat in front, flat on top, flat on bottom like a rectangle 8 ft long. Do you have a video on how to straighten this out? I'm thinking - heat it up with my propane torch, then hammer it out. The heat will soften the metal and prevent brittleness and cracking. It is a deep dent. Do I need an anvil, or lay it flat on the concrete driveway? I might crack the driveway. I don't have an anvil that large. Please help. Any advice would be so welcome.

    I need some advice. I have a 2008 jeep wrangler with a solid steel bumper that houses a winch. I was towing my jeep with a commercial truck, my pinch hitch came off the truck frame and my bumper was pushed into an oblong 'v' formation and my winch is now busted. The winch pushed back my roll bar on my bumper into my plastic grill. The winch saved my radiator but I need to pull all this out and get that bar off of my grill. Any suggestions you might have would really help. It doesn't need to be perfect just close to the shape it used to be.

    Using PDR, would I be able to pull a deep dent out of the rear bumper of a Silverado (16) ?
    It's a significant dent;
    I ran into a solid pole, protecting the entrance to a liquor store.
    I'm wondering whether the force of the pull will rip the bumper right off the truck. 🙄

    Improper fender liners are probably the number one cause of fender rot on trucks. The liner should cover all the way to the edge of the fender so that road debris does not break the paint and cause rust. Alot of trucks have no fender liners at all in the rear which is why they rust quicker in the rear. American auto manufacturers do this on purpose so that you replace the vehicle due to rust and not mechanical failures because "rust isn't their fault it's the environment"
