Excellent video of the action with 78019 and Sapple plus the Class 20 👍👍 So this is your first time visit to the KESR? This year it’s their 50th anniversary so look out for anything might be visiting.

    Excellent.
Just a mention that there are a couple of ‘misspells’ in the note; for the name of the town.
It is ‘Tenterden’, rather than ‘Tenteten’. (You can see the station sign ‘Tenterden Town’ at 01:13)

Thank You for spotting out my spelling mistake since this was my first visit to the railway so I was not familiar with the location names and spelling. I have now corrected the spelling in the description.

@@EHSteamVideos Thank you for acknowledging my earlier msg.
The building of the line, under the Light Railway Act, was a significant work by Col H F Stephens.
I have only been there three times in nearly 30 years. The trip up from Bodiam is always calming, though often damp.

Diesel assistance on a heritage railway? Its bad enough on the mainline

Well the Standard 2 is light footed so hence only on a load four plus the gradient on that line is 1 in 37 and the weather was a bit damp that is why she needed some assistance.
