Sophieâs mom is a professor at my college and I have been around them both quite a bit. It wasnât rehearsed from what I could tell from being around her. Sophie is always like this a bright and bubbly sweet little girl with a VERY big personality and even bigger talent. Normally I wouldnât address hate but when itâs people you know personally itâs upsetting to see people hating on a young talented girl such as herself who is getting a shot at performing on one of the countryâs most popular tv shows

Sophie has been singing her whole life. She has a You Tube channel with her mother, a concert pianist and singer from Russia. Both of her parents are musiclly-talented performers. Sophie has inherited their talent, and she TRULY LOVES to sing and perform. She has an older sister and a younger brother, and neither of them have the ability to sing like Sophie. Sophie has been encouraged to sing from the beginning, but when the parents saw that she has the talent and the love for singing, they let her continue to blossom into the little performer she is today, who just keeps getting better and better. (Someone mentioned Angelica Hale, that she is not ... well, Angelica Hale is a phenomena, a once-in-a-lifetime-type talent, that is hard to match or beat.)
You're 100% right. She has time to develop skill but has a passion and love for music performing that even the most skilled performers can lack.
