Love from an Amazigh of the Ait wayagher tribe from the Rif mountains of Morocco living in Amsterdam to the Amazigh brothers in Algeria and the rest of the world.
I saw them in Montreal and shared tea with them backstage. They are polite and welcoming although not big talkers, you get the message. Their feelings are known in their songs and there is a vibration you feel right away in the few minutes of their playing.
It’s Tuareg culture for men not be talkative and to be decent, these guys are heroes for my people for carrying our sufferings and our storys to the world
wow! I am dreaming of an opportunity to go and listen to them in an original environment of the music. They are just amazing. For years I listen to them and they give me goosebumps every single time!
