I have personally seen Pickwick dam when ALL the gates except about 4 were open and the water was still going over the closed gates . We were told those gates wouldn't open under that pressure. That was in late 70s or thereabouts when below dam flood levels were record high. I have also been on Pickwick with 5 or 6 foot waves in a ski boat near the first bend up river and had to rescue a 16 foot alumna craft fishing boat whose motor wouldn't start. We couldn't even see the boat when rope went through the waves and we were going about 4 mph with maybe 1/4 throttle on a 100 hp outboard. There was a tornado reported a few miles away and waves developed in about 15 minutes or less.
I actually love these so much lol this is the EXACT kind of content I want. Also, it's really all the behind scene stuff I like the most. At the house with the boys shootin shit.. it's just really really great content Scott and lets us all see a side of fishing that 99.99% of us will never get to do. I got to watch DC Fishing win one at Redcrest and now getting to see you perform so well is such a treat. If you ever needed a caddie but for like fishing.. just someone to hand you towels, unhook ur fish... do your dishes or laundry or something man, im ur guy.
