The big guy in this episode is wrestler Big John Studd. He had recently just ended his run with WWF when this episode aired.
So we never found out how they took care of the call of nature in that holding tank, and McCall's makeup looked FABULOUS after that impromptu wilderness shower!
Hunter said he was going to dig a hole.
That was really good. Love Dean Stockwell. He can play one cold SOB!
Now THIS is what TV was like back when TV was worth watching!
The 80's were awesome, Hunter, 21 Jump Street, Cheers, 3's company etc.

She has been in this container sweating and almost dead and she comes out of a cold shower beautifully made up. So realistic,ha ha.
This episode seriously needed Hannibal, Face, Barockus(SP?) and Murdock
Combining TV shows, I like it
But let's add in Michael Knight & KITT, and Airwolf. Instead of Hunter, McCall, and the girl escaping in a semi truck, they ride away in KITT. Then the A-Team runs in and captures the men the men who were chasing and trying to kill Hunter.
Then, Hunter returns to the camp riding in Airwolf and tells the men to drop their guns.
Big John Studd RIP.
A little bit under toned was not the usual action and humour of H and DD enjoyed it any way ❤❤❤

00:35 Now's as good a time as any to comment about this new opening scene. It's all pleasant and surrealistic, palm trees, a sunny day, a guy sitting in a window in a run-down neighborhood, young kids playing in a yard, chain link fence, then it turns to drugs, then it turns to a dead rich chick on the floor. Wow! Real gritty in the big city!

I noticed that too.I think they changed it later on to something more suitable for veiwing due to complaints at the time.I remember there was a tv critic here in the 80's called Mary Whitehouse,and she said that ALL showd like Hunter,The A-Team, Airwolf,Knight Rider (my favourite) ect would,if she got her way,be banned from veiwing due to what she thought was too much swearing,violence,sex ect.

This is probably the most stereotypical '80s episode. It seemed every '80s crime/cop show had an episode with a militant hate group. The story was ok but the actual content was under cooked. No real great lines between Hunter & McCall other than the banter about digging a hole for McCall to use as a bathroom.
This is the 2nd time a WWF personality has been on the show which isn't such a surprise as NBC was in bed with the WWF at the time with Saturday Night's Main Event. Studd didn't bring much to the table other than being surly and a bully. Actually, from what I hear that wasn't far off from his real personality.
Nice to see a valuable character actor in Dean Stockwell playing Hobarts. He had the right amount of gravitas for the role.
3:58 - Big John Studd says "Turn around", then you can see they muted what he said after. Maybe it was "fat boy"?
I use to like this show, but now the more I think about it the more I wonder how they ever got through seven seasons!!!!!

You far right guys believe too much of the propaganda of Rupert Murdoch. Outside of the major cities California is mostly Republican. The same can be said of Oregon and Washington State. I have lived all over the west coast and can tell you its a solid fact that without Portland, Eugene and Bend, is as red as Wyoming. The Republican Speaker of the House has his district in California. Ronald Reagan had his ranch in California and was the Governor there before becoming President. I bought one of my favorite pistols at a gun show in California. As long as you are a law abiding citizen buying a gun there is fairly easy. You have to wait 3 days to get a pistol but you can walk into any gun shop and walk out with a shotgun the same day. I am not sure why you guys blindly believe everything a rich billionaire tells you but you should really think about seeing something with your own eyes before putting your image and reputation on the line rallying against something that might not even exist. It is very unfortunate how divided our country is but I am sure someday we will all be united again. It will start to happen once your side realizes that all politicians are liars and thieves. All of them, left, right and center. We used to all know that. The entire country saw politicians as better dressed used car salesman. What I don't understand is how any of you can still back Trump. He called on that group of his followers to march on the capitol. They did what was asked of them and now they are one by one going to prison. A separated Marine just got almost 6 years the other day for using bear spray on the capitol police. Before Trump left office several people that organized Jan 6th asked Trump for pardons. He could have easily issued a blanket pardon for everyone involved. Unfortunately Roger Stone and the others that received pardons could still be useful to Trump. Those everyday citizens that fell for his con couldn't do anything for him anymore so he didn't bother to pardon them. That should have showed you that he has no loyalty to the people that are willing to give their all for him. Now they are spending years in prison and he could care less. And that is what is truly sad... Sorry about the novel but I didn't expect to see political views in the comment section of an 80s tv show.

You do realize nobody here prior to your comment said a single thing about politics. I am not for any of the typical parties we have of today. I'm a constitutionalist and believe in minimal govt period. This country hasn't had a good president since George Washington. You can't deny that California has some of the worst gun laws in the country though. 10 rd or less capacity handguns are all you're allowed there and you also have to wait 3 days for ammo ! In my state you only wait 10 minutes to be approved and walk out with a handgun , rifle or shotgun and can buy unlimited ammo without waiting here. Very simple to get a ccw here also which are hard to get in California.
