- Larry the Cable Guy tells of when he and his wife were searching for answers regarding their son’s hip dysplasia and how the majority of information available was specific to dogs, not humans. He shares that this deficiency was a primary driver to partnering with Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children to form the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.

A class act.
being sick from a disease that affects 0.01% of the worlds population. I can attest that any help from anyone anywhere is appreciated. Kudos to Dan.
Larry, 3 years later I hear about this but not to late. Thanks for being a great person and giving back
He is a great dude. Thanks for all you do Mr Whitney. (Larry)
Wow Larry is a great man. Thank you for this video.
My mom had a stroke in 2011. Larry donated a bunch of money to Madonna rehabilitation in Lincoln Nebraska. Her window in her room was to the indoor playground for kids that Larry donated to. She loved watching those kids plat there. Incredible generosity.
that was so good that he donated the money
Cool to see he's such a giver. great interviews!
Thank you LTCG, you have a good heart. I'm glad your son is better....Mick
He was Blessed with a great career and he in turn he is giving back by blessing others...he is a giver and a good human being and I know for a fact Larry , GOD WILL CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY... thank you Larry for the laughs through the but made me smile from 👂 to 👂. Take notice people whether you're rich or poor, even small acts of kindness go a long way✝️🙏👍
Conservative values

Such a great outcome to a terrible situation,
THANK GOD 🙏
Much respect. And did not toot his horn over it.
Thank You God Bless You Larry
Larry's a good dude. I'll tell you that right now!🤣
god Bless you Larry you are a real stand up guy
If stars and athletes all donated like Larry instead of just 10 grand from their 100 million we could probably cure many of things got er done
Sounds like the same BS we had to go through for two years trying to figure our my wife's condition. After several doctors telling her it was pink eye, or maybe caused by smoking, or there was nothing they can do and she just has to deal with it and will eventually go blind while several said that they had no idea and just deal with it before we found one doctor that thought it might be "Graves eye Disease".
WE looked it up on line and found a video from a doctor talking about how it was one of the most incorrectly diagnosed condition out there. Lucky for us, he works out of the University of Michigan Medical Center.
He found that her condition was so severe that she was close to going blind. Two weeks later she was in surgery. She is just fine now. My wife is a addict when it comes to reading. If she had gone blind she would have just stopped wanting to live.
A lot of doctors can be great and save lives while others are just there to look down their nose at you while they collect a check.
I am glad to hear that this doctor has modified the Pavlik harness to have excellent results. That and double diapering and swaddling the babies with blankets have often been the only solution to this particular congenital disorder. So glad to hear that Larry's little guy is doing so well. Thank you for getting the word out there about this condition, Larry.
God Bless Dan!
great interviews!
Another great post, Graham. Hope all is well with you as is Larry's boy!
I had hip dysplasia as a child in the 70s, thanks for bringing awareness to this condition.
I was at Orland Health this morning starting my journey to wellness and recovery and looked at the names of the charitable contributors on the wall and near the top of the list was the "git R done foundation." Right up there with our good friends AP and Winnie. I found that a bit surprising, but maybe I should not have. Now I see why I should not have. Thank you for helping us, life well played. I am not rich, but I am not poor, either. St. Jude Children's Hospital is my primary will beneficiary, but I will make a contribution to Orlando Health / ORMC when I get through this. Thank you for helping us.
Oh God, I feel for what you went through. 🙏
God bless your big ol heart Dan! You are the best! I’m sorry you, your wife and son had to go through this. In the long run, because of your extreme generosity, it turned out to be a blessing for so many others in need of help. May God bless you and your family always! 💖
What a good dude🇺🇲
Glad to see this as I have wondered about how is boy was doing. Larry is a true personality and that is a testament to his character and his success. He's the only comedian that I ever heard that could make me laugh!
Good man.
God Bless you Larry!
What a classy guy!!!
Instead of getting a new yacht or property, you helped somebody. Maybe you can teach most who are wasting the opportunity
@@douglasmclean9407 what do you mean he didn't earn it? Green is an ugly colour
He wouldn’t want a yacht anyway.
Nice caring guy.
Like it when he makes me laugh, but this were better.
That’s my tow-truck
😂
Wow incredible
Awesome
Amen!!!!!!!!!
This is more proof of Good God is and the mircales god can work to those who believe
i am glad the Larry/Dan Child Wyatt is doing being and will never have to have hip surgery because of this
this just proves that God is Good and God is good All the time
Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He ain't "Hollywood" by a longshot.
Great comedians usually aren’t
@@act4666 I think we can say that for anybody who does not forget who they are, where they come from. Money doesnt "Change" people, it just reveals who they really are.
@@timorean320 True true. I’m so glad for the work Larry does for precious children with medical issues. Foxworthy has too!!!!
Dan, I never saw the real side of you and I've gotta say, I like you.
Hopefully some day my child's office secretary tells me... Well you're rich, so you're in luck.
Shriners Hospitals for kids. No cost.
Thousands of people every single year find out they have hip dysplasia. Babies, kids, teens, adults and elderly find out all they time they have it. This is NOT something that goes away if found later in life or after the age of one. His son is not completely cured and might have complications later in life or maybe in hia 40s or 50s. This is a never ending fight that is well worth the fight. I truly hope his son sees no further issue but it's highly unlikely he is 100% free from this disease.
Only time will tell that. Each case is individual.
he's a funny mix between brat favre and gene hackman lookwise ...
ha ha ha ha ha!
Your picture had me pissed
His wife is pretty good looking.
I'm going to donate 5.00 to the shave Larry's ear foundation. It looks like a weed patch. They are developing Nair for ears.
"get her done foundation" sounds a bit strange coming from Larry/Dan
ok so larry gets emotionally about pixar but not about his kid makes sence
Do you have someone in serious need that you care about? I do, and I've learned to suppress that emotion because if I don't, its gonna get real bad real quick. But when I hear about the smallest gift of life or goodness that someone receives, it really affects me. Just saying. So, don't get to negative before you walk the walk.
If one phone call set up me and my family for the next 100 years like the pixar call did for Larry I might shed a tear too
Pix gave so he could do all the good! He earned it... years of trying... for a day off culmination!
I KNOW Larry is funny due to audience's reaction , but it's hard for me to understand his jokes due to his FAKE accent, well, I'm not a native English speaker. After watching this clips, Larry has my respects.
I never noticed but does Larry have a cleft palate?
Yes. I only read one story way back. Where he talked about all the surgeries he had to have as a kid. His dad hated that he had it and thought and said terrible things as he was growing up going through that.
His wife is not hard to look at.
I really enjoy "Larry's" comedy and am glad he's able to do what he's done with his money. Yet, one of his handlers should've told him to shave his ears before he did this interview.
I Play One On T.V. You know he probably doesn’t give af
Like
That's a nasty word.
Too bad millionaire democrat politicians don't give a S.H.I.T.! Even so: Live a modest life. Give what you can for those with less than you. That's a good epitaph! Most of the wealthy leave an epitaph of shame. You know who I'm talking about!
the guy is clueless
Shave your ears, dude!!!!
