People living in tropical countries: Snow? I don't know such thing.

ye
Always wanted to see snow but it never affected my christmas
People living by the great Lakes snow is small pieces of holy hell fire falling from the sky Ops thats hail
snow is the best kind of dessert because it's not a permanent one.
I live on a tropical country, and i think i cant adapt to such a cold weather.
Emily at the end: "Have a great 2020!"
Me: "Aww, that's so nice!"

I totally agree. I fucking hate quarentine, but even I'm not going outside anytime soon.

Well we all know how *that* went
I’m getting flashbacks…
As a Filipina who has never touched snow before, I feel you, Emily.
*Canadians can't relate*
Surprisingly, If you live in the west of Canada like B.C you may not get much snow till March or February
True
*shakes head * so true...
yeah
Yes xD as much as I love winter I'm not missing it it's gone to a point that if I go outside and it's not snowing and it's sunny it's basically fall who cares if there's snow on the ground we ignore that xD
im australian. ive never had a snowy christmas, or snow.
I'm from Brazil
I know the feeling man you not alone
I know what you mean I'm a aussie myself
As a Canadian let me tell you, your not missing out on anything good. Unless you enjoy shoveling snow for and hour and a half or slipping on black ice and breaking a bone.
Yeah
So is Christmas portrayed as snowy there too? Canadian btw
To be honest, you really transported me to that peaceful moment from the snow falling at night. It was very relaxing
From Canada here and can confirm winter is still fun even with driving (especially with drifting around a quiet neighbourhood corner) and having to scrape my car the only thing that ive always hated about winter is the constant shovelling. as another note i live near the mountains so the hills are steep for tobogganing and I am still shocked i never broke a bone or my face going off icy ramps at the bottom of one of those hills.
Can we talk about how good she is at narrating calm, beautiful stories.
No, we cannot describe the perfect.
i felt so calm lol
@Zakariya Mughal I know

What about Australia?
You can say the same for florida

lol, not where I live, it was 42 degrees outside on xmas. I'm not going anywhere without my fan
growing up without snow, i found that i found the comfort of the holidays and festive times whenever it was freezing cold. like right now! the nights would come much quicker and since i live on top of a hill, fog is pretty common around this time and i LOVE it. i love seeing the fog outside and the christmas lights of my neighbors. there is no wind, but its really cold, and sometimes the moon shines through the fog and clouds and its beautiful. the air also seems very misty and humid, like a huge cloud passing through me. its very cold when that happens when i open a window and just stand right next to it, but i love it. i wish i could experience snow for the holidays, but, i dont think anything could ever replace what i have right now
"Merry Christmas and a great start to 2020!"
to be fair she only said "start"
First I guess?
The start was ok i guess
i mean the biggest threat in the start of 2020 was a war threat from america to a middle eastern country which they did a lot of times so the start was fine

I am sad, seeing the hope of 2020, and the chaos it’s been... this is why I haven’t watched the videos of late 2019 very much.
East coasters: If you live in a city with subways, the west coast doesn't really have that, but they do have trams. Also, no soft pretzels, Philly or NY cheesesteaks, italian(water) ice, or Tasty Cake Products.
They also say sub or sub sandwich instead of Hoagie.
This is most of a culture shock for people who live on the east coast but are in the Mid-Atlantic, New England Area, Maryland, and (IG) Florida (but the Miami part).
I live in canada and I feel the same about winter and snow honestly everyone in my school waits it out till mid november thats when we get oh god how am I going to get to school snow and then all hell breaks loose and it's so fun and falling asleep while watching the blizard outside or drinking hot chocolate in front of a fireplace during a blizard is just amazing

Hey but I think in 2018 there was snow in Tallahassee
Same the only thing thats different between seasons is temperature and maybe some leaves
I felt that one
The silence when snow falls is the most ominously beautiful sound ever. It's like, even though you like in a city and there are cars, and dogs, and people, the snow just stops all that noise. When I was in high school and just out graduated, I took long walks to get out of the house for a while. In the winter, I remember walking down the street when it would snow and there'd be no one out. Just me, no cars, no other walkers, just me and whatever I was listening to on my phone. I remember how the silence and that cold stillness was just so comforting, somehow. I remember I'd had some particularly bad times in that part of my life and I'd take a walk to just cry it all out. I remember that, even though it wouldn't freeze, all the tears I cried out got so cold that it was like an icy brand on my cheeks and I'd come back with rosy cheeks and frostbitten streaks under my eyes. Honestly, I miss that. This year, winter was about 50-75 degrees in KS and it just didn't feel like winter. And now that Christmas is over, NOW ITS DECIDED TO GET SNOWY OKAY.
I live in New Jersey so it was always magical when it snowed even if it was like a centimeter cuz it rarely snowed and I always love building little snowmen out of the very limited snow, snowballs, and snow angels
We’re on fire, alot.

Well in Quebec when it is 9 or later november it is snowing or having snow almost until the end of spring till, some years we don't have a long time having snow and some years it is an apocalypse this year is one of our biggest winter or maybe it is the biggest on news they said that a city got 100 CM/centimeter snow, which is really a lot if we only count the snow of the day but if we count all snow of the days, then you have snow taking over your car and the jobs have to give off-duty for everyone (I think I'm having some problem or just sick I don't type bad in english or speak english badly usually, I have no idea what is happening with my english am I slowly becoming able to speak only one language which is quebecois (not french it is racist for us to call us french). Ah, winter, the season that takes up half the year yet still manages to hail during spring. Also the only I actively prefer going outdoors seeing the glistening snow and the sharp needles of air. I especially love it when it's high winds as well, the times where you can't see what's ahead really puts your memory to the test in the woods. But my favorite thing, simply sitting on my stairs at night just observing nature and relishing the fact I never use coats but instead the protection of shorts, sandals and a tank top
Emily: *has seen snow*
