Im thinking of getting a guitar to play this game and learn something, does anyone know which are good entry guitars?
Rocksmith will teach you .. but you have to be willing to put in lots of hours . Uber cheap guitars are usually problematical for feel and tuning stability and generally frustration learning to play . First guitar should have a fixed bridge so you have better tuning stability and can change tunings for other than E standard . A cheaper guitar with a tremolo on it will likely be a major source of tuning irritation making you not want to practice .
Schector makes an outstanding model called the Demon for $400-500US . Likewise Ibanez make some very decent guitars in the same price range . Yamaha also make some good ones . I hope you give playing guitar a go . Playing your favourite songs is very gratifying - especially after putting in a lot of hours on it . For me it is also therapeutic and helps me live much better with depression . I've put in close to 12,000 hours since 2013 . I am not a good player by any means, but I love it and I'm a damn sight better than when I started . Elison has gotten very skillful since 2013 .
ive got an epiphone les paul special 2, epiphone makes really good guitars for pretty cheap. the one i got was from amazon from 2 years ago when i started (didnt realize i should go to a store and test it before buying), still holding up strong even after i dropped it a few times :p its not the best or anything like that but pretty good for the price range. guitar centers got it on sale from 269 to 219 right now but its usually around the 200 range, good luck on starting out it hurts a lot but gets easier with time lolz
