The movie that helped start it ALL for me, personally, with the Falfa 55 being the main inspiration to build and own my own BLACK 55 Chevy post 😎. Owned since 94 as that was the year I finally was able to buy the exact same 55 (from a family friend) I had wanted since like 1980 at 7-8 y.o....IF I could? I'd LOVE to own ALL 4 of THOSE movie cars , including the Pharaoh's Mercury! Perfectly built tribute cars WOULD BE, fine 😌 as well. You were fortunate to meet Candy and Bo (while he was alive). Happy Restoring and Cruizin 😎🤘🔥🤘
Candy Clark is a really nice person, my wife and I met her at an auto show many years ago. She was signing autographs on picture’s from the movie with cast members on them, she was very pregnant at the time, but still cordial and very friendly. My wife had just been diagnosed with liver cancer, and she appreciated the time she took to have a conversation with her. She didn’t know of the diagnosis, was just a friendly person.
That's awesome Nick i love watching American Graffiti movies and also those two stars in that movie is going to be in Los Angeles and it is call Hollywood Show at The Westin Hotel and every year i go to it and also i have met Mackenzie Phillips
Lived the life in the sixties in Santa Rosa..cruising 4th street in my 59 Ford Galaxie with 63 1/2 galaxy R code 427" race car running gear. Still have a 56 Chevy 150 utility that delivered phone books to my home growing up in S.R. It had a brief shot in Peggy Sue Got Married...filmed in Petaluma and at Santa Rosa High. Many of the 60's acid rock bands called Marin and Sonoma County Home and played at The Fillmore Audititium and Avalon Ballroom..yeah I'm old... Paul Lemat signed a 32 for me in Petaluma...Candy didn't have a car to sign 😢
Your youth years "Cruizin 😎" (like GRAFFITI) is actually? My partial idea of Heaven.... Would've LOVED to experience such but, I was born in 73, the same year Graffiti hit the theaters and also, the same year of the official death ☠️ of the American Muscle Car , unfortunately 😞. Be 50 myself here in November 😬... Happy Restoring and Cruizin 😎🤘🔥🤘
I remember seeing those two cars for sale up here in Canada in the Old Car AutoTrader back in the early 1980s. I beleive the owner wanted $20,000.00 for the pair back then, which was quite a lot back then...
AIN'T a Biscayne ,guy... It's an IMPALA. NO such thing as a Biscayne HARDTOP for one, plus the triple tail-lamps of the Impala IS a straight up "clue", TOO... Like other question- DID you even SEE the actual movie? 😵💫
I met Trudi from Miami Vice at the Miami boat show a few years ago. She was hawking signed pictures of herself and I laughed at her as she had bloated up big time.
NEVER watched Vice nor know who Trudi is/was but... Yeah, instead of "laughing" at others "aging" etc? Maybe try lookin in the mirror 🪞 at one's own self, instead of laughing/judging others, alright? For example, YES, it IS sad to see like for example, Catherine Bach (the original Daisy Duke) over the past couple PLUS decades having to do the SAME thing, as Mother Nature TIME, WASN'T so good to her, either BUT... IS WHAT IT IS....😵💫
Rest in Peace Bo Hopkins 🙏🌹💜
Its so cool when you get a chance to meet the stars of certain movies.

Thank you my fellow Cruiser! Yes they were both very nice to meet in person. This was one of the films that introduced me to the classic cars.
I heard after filming, Universal offered all cars(32,55,58,and the mercury)to employees for $2000.00 for all 4. There were no takers, CRAZY!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Candy Clark at Bowling Green, Ky. a few years ago and got her autograph. Very sweet lady.
Falfa's car is a repo, the original was wrecked at the end of the movie. That car was one of three used in 2 lane Blacktop.
Cool video !! Thanks for sharing this
All so nice! Loved that movie!
I've seen the 55 in person before, but not the others.
0:10 The header looks like it hits the tire. Awesome cars.

We’re these cars the cars that were actually used in the movie, or were they replicas of the movie cars?
Replicas, but still cool to look at.
VERY excellently done, replicas too, at THAT! 😎🤘🔥🤘
