I've tried several other grill brushes and this is the best. How I did it: I replaced all my grill grates and only used the GRILL RESCUE brush on grill grates. My grill grates are remaining clean using only the GRILL RESCUE. I grill several time a week, GRILL RESCUE works.
I'll have to try this. I didn't use it on new grates and my existing grates have some black stuff that appears to be burnt into the metal, or at least really tough to get clean. Overall, the brush does a great job and easier to clean in between big cleanings.
I don't, I just have the stainless grates. Mine does the same thing, even when you clean the top of the grates I believe the black stuff is grease or whatever working its way around from the bottom of the grates.

@@brenth7774 Do you season your grates? I have these black marks on mine, but its from spraying my grates with “Pam, or Avocado Oil Spray”
