    MORE conduit than you will EVER NEED, is ABSOLUTELY TRUE!!
    I trained my guys by pointing to a bag of 50 fittings, and a roll of 1000 ft. and asked, "How many do we take in the field to the next county?" Idunno............
    2 fingers, TOO many and TOO much, that is how much we take from the warehouse when we leave. Or, or, you can drive back 27 miles to get 4 more fittings, out of a bag of 50 which no one is counting or caring about.
    In this case I NEVER would have put in 1 after all that digging, and etc. Put in 2. The next one may be used in a decade, and possibly not by you, but follow YOUR principle, you stated,
    "MORE conduit than you will EVER need!!"

    When you force a sleeve under concrete like this you aren’t able to properly backfill, ground will settle and cause your concrete to crack and shift a ton over time. Also that void will fill up with water and freeze in the winter

    • @MarkH10
      @MarkH10 Před rokem +3

      unlikely with less than 18 inches, however sand will not settle, and expanding foams are used to raise concrete nowadays, so getting some upward pressure is not that difficult anymore.

    depends what you get in the pool but even bare bones skimmer, 2 to 1 suction and 1 to 2 return is 2 50mm pp and 1 40mm pp that don't bend, you use fittings to run it... so that "extra" conduit would only be suited to light cables...
