The rarity of you that have viewed this. Do you realize what brought you here. This originally came out before DVR, streaming or social media. And not many, comparatively speaking, watched this show when it originally aired. To put it into numbers- if you were in a crowd on 1 million people, only 5 of you have heard this song. So this song had to have touched you in a way that it stayed with you until today. It's nice to meet you here

Guess what? Lets keep it going! Saw this when I was about 5 or 6 and always wanted to make a song like this. I've NEVER seen a cover of it so I made one. It's different lyrics by a talented songwriter (Samantha Blanchard) but I reproduced the music with a few new touches, and I used this arrangement to do it.
I happened to record the episode on vhs then used an old school tape recorder to put on tape, I must’ve been 10 or 11 years old
THIS! I am glad there are people like yourself and the uploader. I was one of those people that watched this show religiously. When I got grounded, it was banning this show, which in those days meant calling my bestie on the landline and getting him to record it on his vcr so that when I was free I could have my mom drive me over to his house and we would watch together. This song always touched me and the show was a rare gem. This plus Get A Life got me through smiling in those teen years. To fond memories and the people that made them and help us remember them :)

This episode is so moving and touching... I was watching it for the third time and I almost cried at the end. This song and the music which is played when the girl enters the diner is soo.... I can't explain it, I just feel it. I feel that some episodes of Parker Lewis are just too dark, depressing and this is one of them. Awesome episode!

Most of the Mikey-centric episodes were the same. At one point he threatens to drop out of school so Parker can talk him back. I loved this show but I wish they'd made Mikey alittle more three dimensional.
