Like you I was a skeptic regarding such programs: I’m a photographer and have now been using my MacBook Pro for about 5 years. I work in RAW and also work on a good number of photo-merge panoramics. Also recently started video’s for CZcams. All these processes take their toll on my Mac. I finally decided to jump in and give it a try (clean my Mac x) and it really has returned the speed which macs are known for⁉️ I now use the M1 version and superb
Is it worth to purchase? right now one time payment is 90€, yearly it is 30€! I use my MacBook mostly for photo editing and here and there for video editing (mostly gopro footage).
@@garra7472 sorry for my delayed reply! I have found Clean my Mac x useful in that everything is within the same app. I find it useful when updating software - there is a pop up onscreen asking if I wish to delete old version ‘completely’….
I don't know if you still respond to these comments, but I recently downloaded (purchased) CleanMyMax X. I opened the "Large and Old Files" option, selected about 15-20 files, many of them duplicates/triple downloads and 1 downloaded 4 times. But now I can't find ANY information on how to delete those files! Yours is the 5th CMM X video I've watched, but NO ONE mentions how to delete the Large and Old files I've selected! Please help. Thank you, sir.
@@tdcattech Thank you, sir! That makes sense, but the "Remove" circle still says "Scan". I scrolled down the list and clicked on the tiny circle next to each of the files I'm willing to delete. Each circle turned red, confirming my selection. When I finished with all of my selections, the circle at the bottom still says "Scan". I clicked on that hoping that "might" bring up the "Remove" circle, but it won't release the Scan option, and all of my selected circles are still red.
I'm not sure it falls into the scam category as it's not cheating you out of money but I'm with you that it's incredibly annoying when a free trial is not a trial at all! There should be laws to force software companies to make it absolutely clear before installation what the trial will do and won't do.
I've had several, not too hard to imagine. When you get a job my dude, you can start saving and purchase one for yourself. Then it will be imaginary no more.
If you're going to use CleanMyMac X, READ THIS! Don't ever use CleanMyMac X, it does more harm than good. I used it on two of my mac's and it bricked both of them. Don't ever install this trash software.
very useful and lively explanation .... I was often wandering about the utility of this product and you have unveiled the mystery
Thanks for the feedback. Glad it was useful.

@@jamesss1953 that’s a nice touch…..a lot of people think it’s not worth it or it’s working in background eating your ram and processor
Hi. One question: Can I use CleanMyMac X to free up space on my external hard drives? And if so, do you have any video to guide me?

Just click on the 'Remove' circle at the bottom.

how can i change the application language from chinese to English?
Its a scam. You get the trial version and sit there for a hour while it scans then you have to buy it. It doesn't do anything.

@@tdcattech also, the day after I gave this program that does nothing access to my computer there was fraudulent activity on my credit card in Vegas.
this is the first time in my life this has happened.
