Idea, add a feature in sky lock called the billionaire’s money pit. All players are allowed to throw money in, and for every coin they throw in, they get a point on a leaderboard for said money pit. The top 1000 players get a special bronze coin next to there username, similar to ranks like vip and mvp plus but only for skyblock. Top 100 get a silver coin, and either the top 10 or top 1 get a gold coin. You cannot get the money back. This would incentivize a decent number of the crazy rich to simply throw away money, in theory lowering inflation.

I’m going to give you a simple simple example for you to understand; Imagine that you get 4 scrolls of dungeons and sell each parchment at 400m. Spend a whole day and they are sold. The day after out of nowhere you realize that it doesn’t take you a whole day to sell them, instead you sell them twice as fast. That is to say that your effort is paid twice as fast because people can get money faster when they start the game. As a seller who can only get 4 scrolls a day, you realize that if instead of selling them at 400m you sell them at 500m you go from 1.6B to doing 2B per day. So the problem itself is not those who get money at the beginning of the game and sell it to the NPCs but the problem is the greed of the sellers who take advantage of any minimal change in market statistics to increase their profits. As much as 100 200 or even 1000 players start to earn 2m/h (you can’t do 10m/h as it says in the video that’s an exaggeration to convince you that there is a supposed inflation) they won’t want to pay more than usual for a game object which already has an average/base price imposed by the game community itself. It is a very fast combo with an extremely high damage output potential, so the enemy will likely try to counter it with a swarm. If this happens, use a spell like Arrows to render the opponent defenseless. If they manage to defeat the Lumberjack, the dropped Rage will make the Hog Rider even more dangerous than it normally is. A fast and deadly combination is the Hog Rider and Mini P.E.K.K.A. combo. Both units are fast but the Mini P.E.K.K.A. does much more damage and does not attack only buildings so the Mini P.E.K.K.A. can deal with troops like the Executioner and Musketeer. However, this combo can be defeated with swarms like Skeleton Army, which will defeat both of them since neither of them can deal area damage. I don’t foresee a farming nerf, maybe slowing down the time it takes to get into the garden, but I think instead it will be that the admins will come out with updates that will burn coins away.

My solution to get rid almost all macroers woud be to: -#1 make timer when someone visits their garden and create macro check randomly from 45min-1hr and 15min when on garden (every 45min - 1:15min woud be macro check) -#2 macro checks woud be better: it woud swap your hotbar slot to sb menu (but instead of the menu there woud be a map that shows some letters - just like human verification on some sites) and when player woud be macro checked their location woud be saved and the player woud be tp-d to like red concrete box (so that legit players are alarmed by their mc tab suddenly being bright red) and the player woud need to type the letters in chat and if tey get it correctly they get tp-d back to their farm (and if the player doesn't respond for like 2min he'd just be kicked into the hub).
idea 2 is a very good idea but in pretty sure the admins ahead tried it before but people made scripts within an hour to automatically do the macro check. Even if they make it differently to not work for these scripts, it would be incredibly easy to make a learning algorithm to recognise the characters on the map. For example when a macro check happens to a player, the script takes a screenshot of the players minecraft tab, then it would be sent to the script and the learning algorithm would recognise the characters and complete the macro check
Personally I believe that all inflation is comes down to the supply of money vs the supply and production of goods. If you want Hyperion prices to go down, they should increase the drop rates of scrolls and have it where the rng meter doesn’t reset when you drop a handle in which it only resets when it’s filled up.

Why they didn't make the barrier of entry higher blows my mind. There's even allready the infrastructure in garden levels and crop milestones. Just lock massive amounts of FF or even NPC prices increases behind them and you instantly slow down macroers. No longer can you just farm a single crop and get huge rates. Low effort update, over all disappointing and doubt it will have any real effect in the long run

theres macros that let u farm s-shaped farms. its super easy to find a workaround without even needing an aote/v or anything similar by just letting urself die and setting a spawnpoint. any 5 row farm at garden 12+ would work. if they want to fix macroing there should be macro checks every 15-30 minutes that kicks u if u dont complete it within a minute or so. there would probably be workarounds for that too, but it would be a better start than doing it manually and barely banning anyone.
Heres my idea of a good plan: Remove teleport pads No change (Does drastic thing that can hopefully get rid of macroers while still keeping average players) [My idea would be at some point, either after or during hyperinflation, half the NPC sell price, so its not as profitable for macroers but still a decent amount of money for normal players, which will hopefully at least somewhat deflate the economy] Yay change ReInstall teleport pads. But if that doesn't work Just play your normal profile like its ironman for items that are too expensive Then Bunch of nerds stop grinding for money and start grinding for items which means less buyers and some of sellers can either A: Keep the rare item if they didn't want to pay for the hyperinflated prices or B: sell very very high, like so high, like maybe 100b for a clean hype, which means admins have to do something, or game is now basically perma ironman. Bad things: Dark auctions basically impossible No more economy means no more flipping :(

at one point i made 25 mil/h with ruby and 150 mil at best days. this was the time where hypes were increasing 200 mil per day. nobody will play legit at this point anymore. (except for me who discovered jasper mining for 50-60 mil/h)

the way i see it, its barely a step in the right direction as there is nothing interestung about farming the same crop, people farm because its easier than mining and the trade off for that is that you make less money. Some solutions im thinking of: disable npc selling of crops (except iron man) so its bazaar selling only whcih will make it so player interaction is required. (very jurassic and most likely bad solution) Half the sell price of crops (also pretty bad) put a a price floor on crops for the bazaar and disable npc selling for crops/gemstones as well?
literally any of these would have been better than disabling pads in garden, but theyre too disconnected from the playerbase to know thats what we would have wanted.

I think that their "solution" is bullshit. Most people only farm because they can watch a movie on their second monitor. If they don't add ANYTHING interactive in a farming update, players will just be bored out of their mind while farming. Like, imagine having some kind of minigame every 15 minutes or so, where you can click a few buttons and get like 2x crops for the next 2 minutes or something, and if you fail to do it but still clicked a button, nothing happens, but if you didn't do anything, you'd be kicked out of the lobby.

Most simple solution to this(altho it would take a bit of dev time), would be adding occasional farm mobs spawning while breaking crops. Would cause a player to have to interact with farming, and macroers would have to use aura(making cheaters 100x easier to catch).. Would make farming a tiny bit more fun too lol

This can also be a method of mitigating all damage dealt to a Princess Tower, but doing this more than three times may result in the King's Tower's health being low enough to be targeted directly, opening up the possible threat of a back door three crown. A better alternative is to pull the Hog away from the Princess Tower into the attacking range of all three Crown Towers, which will negate all damage as long as none of them are already distracted
A very powerful combo is the Hog Rider, the Musketeer, and the Valkyrie, typically referred to as the Trifecta. The Musketeer will defend against most troops, while the Valkyrie can protect her and the Hog Rider from swarms or high damage units. The Hog Rider is used to deal damage to the tower.
This can be effectively countered by Lightning, one-shotting the Musketeer and severely damaging both the Valkyrie and Hog Rider. The Minion Horde is also effective, but the enemy can Zap them and the Musketeer will one-shot them all. Even if the Musketeer is defeated, the Hog Rider and Valkyrie will have enough time to severely damage the Tower.
The Hog Rider should be placed behind the Valkyrie to give it a boost so that it stays in front of the Hog Rider, protecting it.
A Hog Rider combined with a Goblin Barrel can be awkward for the opponent to defend against. Timing it so that the Hog Rider is tanking the tower shots for the Goblins is the most effective way to deal damage. However, a Barbarian Barrel can shut this down with minimal Tower damage for a positive Elixir trade, as long as the Goblin Barrel was placed directly on the Tower.
Pairing the Hog Rider with the Balloon can deal devastating damage. If executed properly, the Hog Rider will act as a tank while the Balloon threatens to deal massive damage. The Hog Rider can also destroy any buildings attempting to slow down the combo. However, this combo is very vulnerable to swarms and anti-air cards as neither of the troops target anything but buildings. Additionally, they are easy to separate, due to the disparity in move speeds. Alternatively, the Hog Rider and the Balloon can be played in different lanes to spread the opponent's defenses thin. However, a building or Tornado can bring them back together for an easier defense.
The Hog Rider can be paired with the Lumberjack as both a swarm bait and damage combo. It is a very fast combo with an extremely high damage output potential, so the enemy will likely try to counter it with a swarm. If this happens, use a spell like Arrows to render the opponent defenseless. If they manage to defeat the Lumberjack, the dropped Rage will make the Hog Rider even more dangerous than it normally is.
A fast and deadly combination is the Hog Rider and Mini P.E.K.K.A. combo. Both units are fast but the Mini P.E.K.K.A. does much more damage and does not attack only buildings so the Mini P.E.K.K.A. can deal with troops like the Executioner and Musketeer. However, this combo can be defeated with swarms like Skeleton Army, which will defeat both of them since neither of them can deal area damage. They are also unable to target air troops, so the Minion Horde can stop this easily.
A risky play is to deploy the Hog Rider at the bridge as soon as the match starts. If the opponent does not react fast enough, the Hog Rider will deal a significant amount of damage to the Princess Tower. This can also allow the player to quickly scout the opponent's deck if they happen to react to him fast enough

I remember logging on to skyblock one day in 2022 with 600m in my purse and debating weather or not to buy the cheapest hyp at the time. Now wither impact hypes are well over 2 billion. Quit that same year same 600m can get me nowhere now. 💀
When will /coop be back?
My solution to get rid almost all macroers woud be to:
-#1 make timer when someone visits their garden and create macro check randomly from 45min-1hr and 15min when on garden (every 45min - 1:15min woud be macro check)
-#2 macro checks woud be better: it woud swap your hotbar slot to sb menu (but instead of the menu there woud be a map that shows some letters - just like human verification on some sites) and when player woud be macro checked their location woud be saved and the player woud be tp-d to like red concrete box (so that legit players are alarmed by their mc tab suddenly being bright red) and the player woud need to type the letters in chat and if tey get it correctly they get tp-d back to their farm (and if the player doesn't respond for like 2min he'd just be kicked into the hub).
they need to just completely remove semi afk farming if they ever want macro checks to not be a joke.

idea 2 is a very good idea but in pretty sure the admins ahead tried it before but people made scripts within an hour to automatically do the macro check. Even if they make it differently to not work for these scripts, it would be incredibly easy to make a learning algorithm to recognise the characters on the map. For example when a macro check happens to a player, the script takes a screenshot of the players minecraft tab, then it would be sent to the script and the learning algorithm would recognise the characters and complete the macro check

Personally I believe that all inflation is comes down to the supply of money vs the supply and production of goods. If you want Hyperion prices to go down, they should increase the drop rates of scrolls and have it where the rng meter doesn’t reset when you drop a handle in which it only resets when it’s filled up.
i think the scrolls should be grouped in the rng meter

Why they didn't make the barrier of entry higher blows my mind. There's even allready the infrastructure in garden levels and crop milestones.
Just lock massive amounts of FF or even NPC prices increases behind them and you instantly slow down macroers. No longer can you just farm a single crop and get huge rates.

to macro check someone they should stop their aote/v from working randomly every so often
theres macros that let u farm s-shaped farms. its super easy to find a workaround without even needing an aote/v or anything similar by just letting urself die and setting a spawnpoint. any 5 row farm at garden 12+ would work. if they want to fix macroing there should be macro checks every 15-30 minutes that kicks u if u dont complete it within a minute or so. there would probably be workarounds for that too, but it would be a better start than doing it manually and barely banning anyone.
imo it would a lot more fair if they just added back the captcha paper and when you solve it, you get some reward like 100-500k coins or some copper

thats an issue with A LOT of games
at one point i made 25 mil/h with ruby and 150 mil at best days. this was the time where hypes were increasing 200 mil per day. nobody will play legit at this point anymore. (except for me who discovered jasper mining for 50-60 mil/h)

the way i see it, its barely a step in the right direction as there is nothing interestung about farming the same crop, people farm because its easier than mining and the trade off for that is that you make less money.
Some solutions im thinking of:
disable npc selling of crops (except iron man) so its bazaar selling only whcih will make it so player interaction is required. (very jurassic and most likely bad solution)
Half the sell price of crops (also pretty bad)
put a a price floor on crops for the bazaar and disable npc selling for crops/gemstones as well?
literally any of these would have been better than disabling pads in garden, but theyre too disconnected from the playerbase to know thats what we would have wanted.

I think that their "solution" is bullshit. Most people only farm because they can watch a movie on their second monitor. If they don't add ANYTHING interactive in a farming update, players will just be bored out of their mind while farming. Like, imagine having some kind of minigame every 15 minutes or so, where you can click a few buttons and get like 2x crops for the next 2 minutes or something, and if you fail to do it but still clicked a button, nothing happens, but if you didn't do anything, you'd be kicked out of the lobby.
They literally made it more interactive, you have to pay more attention and press more buttons.

Most simple solution to this(altho it would take a bit of dev time), would be adding occasional farm mobs spawning while breaking crops. Would cause a player to have to interact with farming, and macroers would have to use aura(making cheaters 100x easier to catch).. Would make farming a tiny bit more fun too lol
This would just result in even more macroers bc a lot of ppl will be annoyed at having to kill a mob and adjusting the angle again. Macroes would just be able to kill the mob with a sword. There already are combat Macroes that detect mobs and kills them
the easiest solution to fixing inflation is nerfing farming back to what it was before crop prices changes the change was so poorly thought through it is astounding

Macroers aren't the biggest issue for the economy the biggest issue are npcs, my solution would be to remove the ability to sell crops to nps, and the only way to sell them is through the bazaar. no not deflate the prices of crops the buy/sell order values would be at the minimum of their respective crops npc sell value.
