Haven't been crazy enough to hit 200, but would highly recommend the C6 Z06! An awesome car that won't disappoint.

I had a 2012 Audi A6 prestige and it only had 180 on the dash but with a tune and the rev limiter removed that car would wink at 200mph 🤧
I gotta get my limiter removed. I have an A6 premium from the same year and it only goes 130, and that’s with the V6

@@gong9901 not stock, but the mods to get it there are basic bolt ons. The A6 is basically an S4 that needs to be put on a diet

The C6 had in base model that had less aggressive arrow spoiler, and a narrow body. It had an aerodynamic ratio of .28 .11 over the Z06 so even with 100 less horsepower it could still hit 189 miles an hour. If you give it the same amount of horsepower it will do 205. And if you do stay closer to 680 700 hp you’re going to head to 220-230 miles an hour.

Just want to say I love the content. Its fun, its the stuff that us idiot car guys care about with ALLLLL the warnings of buying an old N54 335 or AMG but we're still going to do it. Long story short though, I learned how physics work in my M4 lol. Of course its tuned and limits removed, roughly 520whp. Plenty of gearing for 200mph, and was pulling very strong up to 182. I specifically remember once I hit 186, those numbers stopped climbing 2mph ever second to 1 mph every 2 seconds lol. Just not enough power to overcome the wind resistance fast enough. Ran out of road.
What about the Studebaker Avanti supercharged V8 from the 1960's it could do 200mph.
Why not include the gen 1 and 2 CTS-V instead they’re cheaper, can still hit 200 mph and still come optioned in an automatic or manual transmission???
I had an Acura 3.2CL type S that had a limiter on it and I knew it could go faster than 145 because whenever I hit that speed the car would not let me go more quickly, once I hit like 120 the cars throttle seemed like it only was 50% active …. Should have had that governor off
There was a time when rhe zo6 could be had for 20 grand and that's not with negotiation... Huh, I miss those days

I've approached 150 a couple of times and frankly, with everything rushing by at speed, all I thought about was losing my license, limbs or life. I'm chicken.

The only common issue with these cars is that you can't get to top speed on a highway without getting at least one ticket every month. Or on most tracks without crashing. So do you really need the 200mph top speed? And the flying spur actually got the tech from the Phaeton, not the other way round.

I got mine online had to pay to have it shipped but you will be waiting a while to find one near you. One year 2004 and W12 there are only like 452 I think.

You could also get a e63 m6 v10 witch might be better then the e60 and it can still hit 200mph with a little bit of work

An F-Type R Jag with a little tuning will hit 200 mph. The SVR will w/o need for tune. 2015 RWD F-Type in great shape, low miles, prob $55k. Rarely are there more fun cars to drive, the sheer NOISE is heaven.

2012 Cadillac CTS v supercharged ls8 manual transmission coupe or sedan can go 205 stock and easily race super cars with parts and for only like 40 for really low miles it should definitely b on this list
Well I can't make a choice since I got a CL63 Merc a few weeks ago and need to remove that pesky limiter
Cars are cool, I'm building a GT40 replica with an Audi V10 atm hopefully that will get me to infinity & beyond 200mph with plenty leftover, but you can get a bike to go 200mph much cheaper than any car, I have a number of these myself & have built a great many more, one of mine stands me at a little over 1K but I did buy it & a shit load of parts way back in the 80s & I still have plenty less, for this, you can forget expensive Turbo's & SuperChargers, Nitros will do the trick plus you only use it when you choose to, I find it so much better for 2 stroke engines, maintenance is up but I do my own.

Add the S65 AMG to the list. 604 bhp, 738 lb/ft. torque. About $20k for an '06. The CL65 AMG is about the same $$$. Sometimes a little less.

Only good cars on this list would be the Corvette and Mustang. Maybe the AMG too, everything is else. Like damn 😭 they not even cheap. The CTS V is reaching $60,000, thats half of a hundred thousand yo. This why JDMs is winnin the game rn. And them civics can really do numbers, AWD drivetrain swap, 1000+ HP? And they can touch close to 200. Why would anyone wanna do 200 anyways 💀💀⁉
