Dear Ranveer, nice episode. In my opinion the tag line doesn’t fit the clip. It’s not Hindu Astrology..it’s Vedic astrology. It’s an ocean in itself. It’s one of the few sciences taught in our vedas.
But hindu/dharmic tradition is the closest to Vedic metaphysics.

I have read this already when i was studying in degree as side curious hobby. So that's gave me interest in astrology, which I kept reading articles on it but my obsession stop when I read Bhagvat geeta. Lord krishna says to be shtitapradnya. I think astrology is a planetory science. But at the same time, the effects of it as per one, s horoscope can not be exactly forcasted. The reason is, the life on earth is going as per law of nature/prakriti.
Ranveer would casually mention "Yogananda Satsanga Society" in many podcasts, which is actually "Yogoda Satsanga Society". Now instead of saying "Paramhansa Yogananda", he says "Yogananda Paramhansa". I don't know why he doesn't say names right, even that of his Guru.

I see a lot of ignorance in the comments but for those of you who are interested in learning more about vedic astrology i want to make a few recommendations: Krs Channel, Dr Arjun Pai Astrology, Eve Mendoza Ji, Ryan Kurczak and Vic Di Cara. These are only a few of the phenomenal astrologers of our modern age and they're full of wisdom. Claire Nakti is another youtuber, she does videos on Nakshatras i think most ppl will find her stuff engaging and easier to digest.
Finally you dont choose Jyotish, Jyotish chooses you and for those of you who are lucky enough to be chosen i wish you strength and spiritual progress on your journey. 🙏

astrologers talks about effects of moon and other planets on us but there are 53 moons of Jupiter, 82 moons of Saturn, 27 moons of Uranus ,13 moons of Neptune and Comets and many other bodies in space. What about them? Why being specific only to some?

@@kartikeyvashisth9860 When ppl came up with the concept of astrology they used to make observations from the night sky, so whatever was visible they took notice of that only. Moon is most important in vedic astrology because of this reason only as its the closest to us. Outer planets (Uranus, neptune and Pluto) are not visible to the naked eye that's why they are not considered in Vedic astrology. Similarly the moons of other planets are not visible to us so they are not taken into consideration 😁🙏
