P 38J vs BF110G2 ACE | an IL-2 1946 video | 1440p

This is the first of what I hope to be a series of "me against Aces" videos.
In this one, I go up against a BF110G2 set to ACE skill level, while I'm flying a P-38J. There is gun camera footage after the first part of the video, and the last half of the video is from the POV of the BF110.
I know his rear gunner hit me at least once, because I saw the "Fuel Tank Leak" message flash on the right side of the screen right after the first time we went inverted.
This mission was flown in B.A.T. using the QMB.

Excellent match the a.i. in 1946 is the best, that 110 really tried to get away and go offensive. No easy kill unless you are flying a Spitfire of course. Showing the different flight views is a winner too. Thumbs up video (3)

BF110s are deceptively maneuverable. And when you set the pilot to ACE, it also sets the rear gunner to ACE. Really have to watch that.

Could have open fired earlier. With P38's guns all in the front, you can hit from afar.
