i got so emotional listening to your advice for the soon to be dad of twins, a great example based leader in the home is so valuable. We have three kids, my husband has grown into that person, and i cannot say how much i love him for being willing to grow with me, to show up when the s*** hits the fan :) and keep working, its a journey and women also need to allow their men to learn as they go and give grace and motivate! working on marriage is the best part of health and the best gift ever!!! thank you so much for giving amazing advice, being so fun and solid!!!
WTF?
💯, excellent comment and you chose well ❤️
How do u have subs with zero content?..
Also, soon to be dad let us know how the transition goes. Who will be bottom?
Training my teenage daughter with all the wisdom I've got from Mind Pump. She's already learnt well that "too little is better than too much." Makes me proud and confident about her future fitness endeavors
Phenomenal episode! Have shared many episodes with my dad and he really benefits from all of the value you give!
Fun Facts with Justin: let's go!!! Your input on fitness is always so concise and yet still rich with information. I love when you get fired up about something and are excited to share.
This was the perspective shift I needed. So grateful for Mind Pump always guiding me towards better! You guys are the best, thank you!
Thanks for all the great information to continue on this journey. You guys are the best!
Adam scores his golf game the same way I do. I'm not worried about making par, if I lose less than a dozen balls I consider it a great day, no score card needed.
This answered a couple of nagging questions on my mind so thank you! Started following you the last month or so and your content has REALLY helped me as I've been trying to develop my fitness journey.
Thank you for knowing what people need to know and hear! What an amazing episode!
Thank you for another great episode, I look forward to these every day, I listen at work 🐶 I've learned a lot from your talks.
Wow listen to you every episode and still learn things I didn't know I needed to know great tips!
Best way to live thru overnight shifts😂 the subjects today were so broad lol… golf, presidential debate, semaglutides and rap… love you guys!
❤
The struggle I have had with people who are taking the diet drugs is financial ability to do group training or personal training. Most people are paying $800 or more a month adding in an additional payment for training is hard for people. Also, with doctors who hand these out they do not always talk about lifestyle change or exercise. I understand that what I shared is not everyone but it’s been my experience so far. I think the narrative will take time to change. It’s hard to try and pull
People out of diet culture and get them to buy in with what really works and lasts. I agree with what you guys are doing but this too will take time. The truth is not always welcomed. Sometimes the easy way is what people want because of medical conditioning and the magic pill mentality. Keep forging guys
learning new things all the time, and then there are some things that you guys talk about repeatedly that i really need to hear and this topic of backing off and building properly was what i needed to hear this morning! Also definitely would love to have MAPS Anabolic :D
Adam,
I felt the same about golf and here’s my advice and this may sound familiar…. “Trust the process”
You can get better! I believe in you😊
Read me: I know you guys take turns with reading comments 'organically' per Adam, but I'm hoping you read this one.
Just started listening to you guys when I had to begin my commute to the office an hour each way 3 days a week recently. I loved this episode so much!!!😊 It's so fun that you guys go from talking about a lagging body part, which I now learned how to train, then you go into funny and truth about the recent debate in politics, to Adam's golf ⛳ potion which made me laugh out loud (everyone in the family golfs and we're definitely not at the same level so I can empathize with Adam, I am him!)
And your response to the 'hater' of your Glp1 coaching program, the morale and ethical response + the business side. I've since signed up to be a possible candidate for the program, and just wanted to tell you guys to keep doing what you're doing, you're all great and very informative, true and real and I just love listening to all of you!! Only love from this listener!!❤ 💪🏋️♂️
Aloha Mind Pump, Thanks for making us better physically and mentally everyday!!! ⛳️ 🏌️♂️
Adam should read the inner game of golf. That would help his golf game out. It will help out more than just golf. It's a good golf book but also about life as well.
Justin’s “just tap it in” is too funny. 💀
I can see Adam going full Happy Gilmore after missing a putt lol
Great advice, look forward to trying it.
Beautiful discussion about choosing a partner who you will grow in love with through life's challenges. I did not choose well and was married to someone who emotionally and romantically abandoned me after our child was born. I believe that compounded my postpartum depression and definitely led to divorce. Couples that grow through the challenge of becoming parents are setting themselves up for a lifetime of support and love and amazing possibilities. Thank you❤!
Thank you for inspiring me to be a better person 🎉😊
Thank you dudes!!
Great Show!!! Always looking foward to it while I work. Keep going, it is very motivational. Hoping to give Anabolic a try 🤘🤘🤘
@turpinatorr Winner! Please email: ann@mindpumpmedia.com with a screenshot of your youtube username, winning episode number, and the email address you would like the program under and we will get you hooked up!
Really good advice for the young father to be. Nice job guys.
Started maps symmetry a week ago, currently in my second week. I started it because I started noticing imbalances on one of my shoulders but now have realized there were imbalances and tightness in my hip and ankles. Hoping this will help improve my lifts in the future.
Not having a prescribed programme, I’m kinda ‘just trying to work it out’…but training 4 days a weeks with 20-30 sets a day…maybe I’m doing too much? Working out what muscles train other than primary target leaves me confused. Thanks for the advice guys. Really enjoying the material. 💪🤦🏼♂️
So need this right now!
Great questions!
Great content!
Great discussion, i want to grow my side delts and calves these have been lagging i have very good chest and quad development but those two parts are my weakness.
Adam -I get your golf frustration! Perhaps you could caddie for your friends instead! Great exercise and you will always be with your friends! Frustration solved! lol
I definitely fall into the addicted to training category. Need to fix that if I’m ever going to follow through with lagging body part training
I am 💯% in agreement on the sport of Golf. I do decent the first 2 rounds then it’s down hill after that 😂
Interesting! I never knew that!!!
The first part of this vid “regulating time on body parts”….for me, since I have limited time in the gym seems to be the perfect answer to this.
Love your show it is really informative
On the WWE analogy, Trump was actually on WWE before!
Pick me! Pick me!
I have been working my way through Maps 15 for the summer (life is busy) and plan to do anabolic come fall.
Love the advice and the show!
I’ve never related more to Adam then his golf story lmao
Personalities make such a big difference! My son constantly fights with one particular cousin, but never with the other four cousins who are the same age. We always joke that it’s because the two boys are so stubborn where the other four who never argue will just go along with whatever.
Not sure where to input this, but did y’all/could yall discuss other peptides for women like sermorelin. I’m interested in it but I would love someone else’s perspective on it. 🖤
Doug is the best(totally not pandering for a program)
Adam, with new clubs you will have to learn your swing all over again. Take 3 clubs out each week and hit a bucket of balls with just those 3 clubs. Clubs should be same, irons the woods. Don't mix
Your swing will improve. Have fun
Ok but how similar is the glp program to anabolic or maps 15. . . The tip is to weight lift, so wouldnt ANY program be a benefit
Just taaahaaap it in 😂
Hoping to join the anabolic gang!
Lost boys! Classic!
Adding to my questions on the last video..... After a hard workout, is it better to take a hot shower or cold shower? I know Hot feels soothing on the muscles but I am guessing cold is better. Is it better to have a majority of my protein at breakfast if my workouts are between 11 and 2pm or is it still better to even the protein out throughout the day? Why is Sal always the opening person on all the videos? Last one is a joke, I love you guys. Thank you for posting consistently. I pray for major success for all of you. Would love to see a video on trying to find time to work out when you have a desk job or a busy life with kids. Would love to see a program that is like a mommy and me or mini me program where it incorporates things both the parent and child can do.
All great questions, but I’ll help answer the first, it really doesn’t matter too much. You’re basically splitting hairs at that point. Whatever your body feels best with is probably what you should go with. Now, if you’re having to do a cold shower because you feel like you pushed a little too hard, then you need to look at your programming. You shouldn’t *need* a cold shower after every workout. I trained my clients to do their best to relax after workout which includes foam rolling and stretching and if that means doing a hot shower to help, then that is what I recommend. Whatever brings your muscles to relax, I would recommend going that direction. But really just feel it out and see what your body responds to. Everyone is different.
@@vince_atrium Thank you!
Having a new time restraint made me do this unconsciously. It is totally why my shoulders have gotten better!! Going to help me not over do it: 😂Mahalo guys🎉
How do I get a micro dose of glp1
💪🏿💪🏿
The dance world specifically, the training is in no way recovery focused. As a ballet teacher, I can find it frustrating that we are so behind the research. We are often training these high-level athletes the way they have always been trained (over-trained) and ruining their precious bodies earlier than need be.
Boom
Hearing Adam talk about golf makes me feel better about my training. I'm less than a year into being consistent, and it's still a challenge. But I've been playing golf at a pretty high level for about 15 years. I guess we're both good at what we've spent our time focusing on, and we struggle with things that are new and complex.
I confess. I overtrain but more for stress relief then add in an abundance of free time. It hinders my recovery, but just can't seem to dial it back. Maybe more meditation is my answer.
I think you know exactly what you need 😌
You guys are always talking volume as sets. What about total weight as volume? That seems to be a more accurate way to track no?
Total weight is referred to as intensity
@dustinwhite6503 interesting. I didn't know that. My watch keeps track of my "volume" and is the sum of total weight lifted....thanks man
How these 3 have the patience to deal with these caller questions is beyond me. Some of the utter shite the callers come out with is delusional 😂😂
I so completely read the thumbnail as “Building Lasagna Muscle Groups” and now I’m kinda disappointed. 😉🤣

34:00 ...or, if you're as good as you think you're, maybe you could use your expertise to tell people how to reach the same result without the intervention...
Bobby (rfk) is clearly the only choice. Obviously the popular vote doesn't matter, but now more than ever is the best time to vote 3rd party. I think that since they already chose Biden in the primaries, the Democrats need to stick with their choice. Although I'm not a fan of Biden and never have been, dementia is a sad thing to see.
Love your show, but could do without the political discussions.
(PLEASE READ) @mindpump
After hearing my comments being read out loud and after Sals explanation for the cause, I wanted to reach out and apologize for my recent comments. I realize now that I unfairly accused you of cashing in on something, when in fact, you were genuinely trying to educate and help others with their fitness. And yes, I know nothing about business. Thank you Adam.
I understand that your intentions were to provide valuable information and support, and I deeply regret any frustration or hurt my words may have caused. Your efforts to promote fitness and well-being are truly commendable, and I respect and appreciate all of you and what you all do.
