Yes this game and Metalcore I have been watching for their release. Definitely a lot of potential right now :) also the geyser/acrid combo is def OP. The ttk is the fastest but bugged. And yes - it needs to be balanced. They def dont want the ttk to be that fast. its like a delete button lol
This will replace war robots but it won’t replace mech arena. I just enjoy the fun simplistic nature of mech arena. But they need to stop the P2W issues. Mech arena is getting to become Rich mob simulator. The worst part is mech arena is mainly played by kids under the age of 14. Which means by the kids buying stuff in the game it almost counts as extortion.
Already playing,on mobile,it works ok on my device. Went looking for some other mech game,because mech arena is getting worse and worse lately. Prices go up, resources go down, even as a pocket spender it takes ages to upgrade a single weapon or mech,and I'm not talking a maxed hangar, I'm 6k sp. I still like mech arena,but if they keep up the direction they are going,this is a promising alternative...

yeah im so tired of the clunky war robots gameplay. This game has the same thing except slightly better walking animations. We still don't have dynamic mech gameplay.
@tsrmmercy836 likely harder to implement into mobile games. only so much you can out into the graphics before it becomes too taxing for mobile devices. Still, this game does it very well, so we'll see
@@RuFFlesGaming Battle of Titians did it just fine. We need that in a smaller scale (2vs2 mode in B.O.T) with more responsiveness, and a more fast paced gameplay with accurate registration engine. Right now you can hardly pinpoint the aim in battle of titans.
@@tsrmmercy836 hardly pin point the aim? Maybe check your sensitivity because sniper users using tormentor and hammer can aim the parts of enemy bots with precision. (Shooting the wings of cormorant to bring it down, shooting the spider legs of a mite upon making a mistake when hiding behind a building, purposely destroying your weapons from far away.

It needs to be more smoothline for a general player-base in order to be presentable. Also battle of titans doesn’t have a pc version either. They haven’t updated the game since the studio went quiet years ago. I wonder if they will recover soon.

Trust me there is more to this game that meet the eyes. Always wanted to say that line 😂. But game design it is 100% different than war robot. Since one is a casual shooting game and armor attack is a tactical shooting game.
War Robots attempted realism (as lots of games do), so its less a WR aesthetic and moreso just a general one. Anyway, the movement in AA is undeniably smoother and looks much better than WR. All they need to do is add some cool ability animations and its just better in every way haha
@KrisMaertens not all, you have world of tanks developers, EA and ubisoft developers to. And for the fact that is a tactical shooter made me think if some of the ubisoft developers also work in rainbow siege games.
I think that this game will probably have same level of monitezation as tank blitz. Yeah, you would be able to buy some resources, gain access to premium Armors and weapons, but it will still be skill based and matchmaking is probably would be based according to how advanced your equipment is. Just like in crossout or world of tanks. That way you won't face Behemoths and titans while having casual or low level stuff. Or so I hope

Hey Ruffle great video, just have to clarify one thing. Microtransactions doesn't equal p2w. P2w is solely if the item that you buy provides you with advantages in battle compared to those who can't pay. But paying for something doesn't not make a game p2w.
yes i brushed on this during my ~2hr recording session but didnt feel it fit well into the video, and assumed ppl would understand the implication. Any reasonable person understands the need for in-game purchases to exist for the sake of developer profit, thats how theyre able to continue delivering updates, keep the servers going, etc

That was alpha version 2. This version each character and weapon have name. For example the jumper is call Icarus the turretguy is call sentry.
