Good work Andrew! What kind of whistle they got on #2? its kinda hard to tell because they wont pull it down long enough and hard enough for the notes to play out.
I don't know for sure, nobody seems to know, it sounds and looks like like a D&RGW 5 chime to me, they also have a single note Hooter whistle that I kind of like since she is an old logging engine.
baldwinloco12 The hooter was slapped on her right after her overhaul last winter, and it matched her better than the 5-chime, but the 5-chime is a nice whistle too
It went back to it's home in Arkansas in 2002 and has been there ever since. It's actually being rebuilt right now for use on the line again. From what I have been told they are getting ready to install new flues and then she will be done and brought back to Florida.
