  • This was recorded on Wednesday 30 May 2012 was a 30 minute trial/experience flight from Barton Aerodrome with Mainair Flight school, pilot was Mark Jackson who currently holds 2 microlight World records
The microlight is a Pegasus Quik 912s which is used for training/hire was a fantastic flying experience, I have flown mainly Cherokee/Warrior light aircraft in the past and had always wanted to see what it was like to fly in a microlight. I can tell you it was brilliant, very stable and easy to manouver on the ground and in the air. Can't wait to go back!!!

I`ve got a special birthday soon, got my voucher and looking forward to it.
Done a couple of those 1 hour lessons years ago in a Cessna, this looks more fun, the flying equivalent of riding a motorbike.

Mark is an excellent pilot. When I decide to move from the 3-axis side of Mainair I'll make sure he does my differences training. I've not flown in about 5 weeks now which is very frustrating.
