@Blake's Garage Are you running poly/solid engine and transmission mounts? Are these necessary with the chassis mounted shifter? I would like to get the CAE shifter for my E36 M3 but I ran poly engine/trans mounts before and they are absolutely horrible. When you accelerate it feels like the engine wants to escape from the car. The mounts where semi aluminum and semi poly though, maybe with full poly ones it isn't as bad.
Revshift poly mounds trans and engine. My car is all poly everywhere.

I modified a old E30 mirror cut it up and attached a wide angle racing mirror.
What shifter setup are you running and how do you like it? Been thinking about getting the AKG or Garagistic solid mount.
CAE Hard Motorsport edition. Love it best shifter on the market hands down nothing better.
How do you have the crank case vent setup? Any oil smoke on deceleration? Mines a burner :(

What do you need? I have tons of e30 parts.
Is it a full stock S52 ? Did you lightened this E30 ?
Judging by what can be seen of the interior, I'd say this car is lightened quite significantly.
@@deltoidsforaltoids nah e30s cant really loose much weight tbh just take spare out and seats(80ish lbs), anything more that that is pointless. you can strip door panels carpet ect and only loose another maybe 15 lbs but you loose the (luxury) and sound dampening.. when you add a roll cage, strut tower bars, larger motor ect you just gain it all back in the end. probably near stock weight (which is still light) and 300ish ponies (at the time of this video)
i guess power steering, AC and fan delete is another 20ish lbs off if you want a hard steering hot summer ride cant think of anywhere else you can loose weight in these

What diff ratio are you running? I wanted to go with a 4.10 lsd originally, but I've heard mixed things about s52+4.10 performance.
3.73 with a ZF and I want to change it to a 3.25. 4.11 would be horrible you’d have such short gearing also max speed would be trash
@@BlakesGarage thanks for the reply I appreciate it, I was planning on 4.10 for autocross. But I’ve heard that acceleration can take a bit of a hit in 1st & 2nd gears compared to 3.73.
@@mehtaabgill4704 these engines have plenty of of torque to blow off the tires with a S52 in 1st and 2nd you’d be much better off with a 3.25 in autox in my opinion

graydon schrank ZF 5 Speed from a 98 M3. Definitely change up the rear end to a 3.25 I have 3.73 rear at the moment and that's way too low.

just an E30 differintal with a 3.25 gear ratio. Just have to get under some junk cars and read the tags. Most likely you'll find one on a 325e
What exhaust set up you go with?
Currently bone stock E30 325i exhaust and stock old cat. Going to do Dyno testing for all power improvements.
@@BlakesGarage did it match up to the S50 headers or did you do fab work? I'm confused.
MkII 6661 some fab work for sure (mostly add the down pipe from headers) stock e30 exhaust is like 2 and 1/4” piping so it’s pretty restrictive compared to stock E36m3 exhaust
MkII 6661 I just got a little bit of piping added at a muffler shop to make the stock exhaust fit. I'll have videos sometime on it.
MarkyD GFX yep, I actually used E36 downpipes to get from the header back then custom from the end of the pipe to the cat. I will switch this up sometime but I wanted to do Dyno comparisons on actual gains over stock.
