Can’t believe I missed this when it was running. Just finished binge watching the entire series. Never have I cried so much over a network show. Great character development and storylines. And that Josh Charles is effin HOT!

I started binge watching in early March of this year and I'm in season 5. How long did it take you to watch all 7 seasons?
Although I was shocked and saddened by the death of Will Gardner, this interview made me appreciate Josh Charles as an actor even more. He knows how to convey complex emotions with subtlety, and makes good use of his well-chiseled face to convey different sides of his character--from charming and sexy, to cruel and fiercely competitive. He is such a beautiful actor.
Love this guy! Amazing personality and great acting, how could he not have Emmy award. Some part of me understsnds his decision of leaving the show, but most of the time I ask myself how could one walk away of such a piece of art as The good wife. As a fan I feel so deprived that I couldn't see Will snd Alicia end up together at the finale. That kind of cracked me and I'm still healing. Hate how realistic this moment of desth is, comes sudden, takes it all, leaves you gasping, leaves you out of line not knowing how to go on

Always loved Will but didn’t realize how much I loved him and how key he was to the show until he was gone. Will always remember the shock of his death. Admired the cast and crew for keeping it secret for so long. That was amazing.
One of the best shows I have ever seen....loved the script and the actors who played the roles ... everyone of them played their parts in such a believable role .... loved it loved it loved it 😊😊
The interviewer was awesome! She came up with some very satisfying questions and was very involved with the topic. She could give lectures to David Latterman on how to ask and listen wisely, really.

OMG, don't know how I missed this brilliant TV show. I am just watching it now after 8 years. Cant stop watching it, I am on season 5 episode 6. I cheated I found out that Josh dies so sad. Love all the characters they all played their characters so well. Love all the comments below.

The best episode of that season was "The desicion Tree" his acting was on spot... I really loved it. So intense.

Thanks so much to the interviewer! I felt like I needed some more of Will, this helps me cope with the loss of the character. I just started watching the whole show on 2019 had no clue of anything I was just in shock. I've had a crush of Josh since I was 13, bye bye Will :(

He's THE BEST. I missed him after he was killed off. The finale brought him back n it was fabulous.
I just saw the episode and was shocked ! Cried a lot through the episode . It was very shocking and sad.. I know it feels stupid but the character “Will” is important and when you feel what could Alicia, Diane and Kalinga would feel, there’s no stopping of those tears! They just roll without even knowing!!
And now when I see that the oldest comment was 4 years ago, it’s really funny but my feeling is fresh so there it is ! :)
This interviewer is fantastic. Somehow she got one of the most talented actors in the business to talk about his craft and is one of the best interviews I have ever seen. This woman should be giving some tips to Diane Sawyer and other more "famous" interviewers. You can tell he appreciates the questions and ability to talk about his job, honestly!

This is a great interview, where they both share and explore with harmony and truthfulness. I see personal understanding and professional communication at the same time. There was no discomfort or embarrassment. Some of the interviews done by male hosts were really horrible to watch, due to many improper and meaningless questions.

I had never seen the Good Wife until March of this year. I'm in season 5 and when Will died, I cried. He was a big part of the show and losing him, took out some of the show's luster. I'm still watching because Alicia is so incredible. She is one of my favorite actors. I just bought her book and I'm looking forward to watching The Morning Show where Julianna Margulies is now starring.
Josh broke my heart
Just started watching & I can not believe that I actually CRIED ALOT that Will Gardner was shot …& died 😭😭😭 & I said to my kids I NO LONGER WANT TO CONTINUE WATCHING it & I had to search who this actor is… & here I am & ever so PLEASED to see that he’s ALIVE IN REAL LIFE🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.

Thanks to my girlfriend I've ended up watching this brilliant show and what a great piece of television. The cast are all brilliant and of course it's directed by Tony and Ridley Scott, fellow Brits ( I'm a Brit ) RIP Tony. Defo miss Josh not being in the show now, hope he's gone onto great new acting jobs. Cheers, Daz, Leicester UK.
This guy is a surprise . Julianna is a star in Europe because of "URGENCES" don't know the American name of the show...at the hospital with Clooney on the 2000) but this actor is totally unknown for us on the other side of Atlantic. He could be a movie star, such strong acting and personality . Bravo will ! And RIP 😬

I rarely watch TV and cereals, but I began watching this program by being sick and on the devan and just surfing while treating a cold! I saw a very heated confrontation with a man and a woman and I began watching! It is to note this is in Italy! Yet, when Will is killed off I stopped watching! He was the "best and worst" (we all can relate) person on the show! You loved to hate him and loved loving him, that is the core of creating a charater and then manning that charater with the most epic personality then hiring the actor to have that role that preforms it so naturally that you as a viewer suspend reality and get into the story! ! I just had been watching only for a month and here they played two shows a day so it moved rapidly! You do not always get to see the show chronologically, RIP Will your untimely death freed up those two hours and I was sad about that, also just today these vids came up in my "suggestions for your viewing pleasure!" I did want to know WHY he would leave!
Loved TGW but the death of Will and the breakdown between Aloysha and Kalinda really impacted the series in a negative way.

LOVE him; i really wish though, that you guys would hire interviewers and reporters who don't say "like" every two seconds, and have a deeper understanding of the context of the work and the layers of the characters; it would make for a much more interesting interview to watch and I'm sure, satisfying experience for the actor. She's very sweet, but the like speak has GOT to stop, this is supposed to be journalism.
the interviewer seems like a nice person but she doesn't project deep intelligence or sophistication. This really weakens the conversation and also her comments compared to his highlight this, and is not good for the interview but he realized he needed to run the show , and did despite the emptiness of her contribution to the conversation
i wonder if he misses' the big paychecks , I enjoyed his work on this but have NOT seen him in anything else of note since.
Alicia tinha uma intimidade com Will no tempo de faculdade então podia ter colocado a Grace como filha de Will, já que foi uma gravidez indesejada,e Peter era um incorrupto e corno, e família de alicia era louco por Will,da pra fazer oitenta temporada ,e a morte de não houve enterro sair logo de cena.
The show really ended with Wills death IMO
Love Josh Charles....but the interviewer needs to grow up and stop saying "like" three or four times in every sentence.
