I tried this and mine was awful streaked, and caked. I did paint 2 coats but I’m thinking of trashing it. I put a coat of of chalk paint on as a base and I painted it with the all surface paints. Any suggestions if I decide there is going to be a next time.

I did clean it with alcohol but other than that I didn't do anything special. Maybe try a different paint brush or just dab the paint on. I'm sorry it's not working out for you. 😔

@@CraftyAnew I decided to decoupage over it and it’s turning out much better. Personally, I think it was the chalk paint.
