    • @MartinSanders-ut9qq
      @MartinSanders-ut9qq Před 2 měsíci +29

      Correct. In fact, the law provides a specific right not to talk to the Police unless under arrest, i.e., Rice V Connolly 1966. Unless you are under arrest, you have no legal obligation to talk to the Police, you can simply walk away from them unless detained. And, even when detained you don't have to give your details unless detained under very specific legislation.

    Rice V Connolly 1966 means he has no legal obligation to talk to the Police, in fact he was free to walk away. And, it is lawful to film anything and anyone from a public place, which negates Section 50 as the law provides no expectation of privacy in public. Therefore, the Police Office acted contrary to his right to remain silence, which is a Section 26 Offence with up to 14 years in prison. I wonder what the hurty-people from the factory actually said when they called the po lice to get such a response? If you called to report a burglary no one comes.... but they must have 'falsely claimed unlawful activity' ( an offence ) or said a 'magic phrase' ( ''free tea and donuts''?)

    Pure gold. Ash's silent audits is a category in itself. Even the background noises add to the suspense. Great camera work too, note at 6:55 panning of the camera, taking focus off the main character. BBC quality Ash!

      The problem is if he accepts a settlement. Because then, essentially he agrees to take money in exchange for not taking further legal action. If this doesn't go to court, there's officially no crime being committed. That'll be why the copper faces no consequences, because if he didn't commit a crime, he's a good cop.

    It still baffles the crap out of me, the way individuals feel it is their right to demand things from an unknown member of the public as if they own the world, the sence of entitlement is unreal.
    I would also like to do a social experiment, how long the costumed clowns take to turn up to a corporation in comparison to a home who has been burgled.
