This is similar to human behaviour. The elephant knows a good spot to position itself for potential handouts. This is endangering the elephant and people in the short term whilst in the long term it will lose it's natural ability to find food in the forest making it susceptible to disease and predators.
It's so obvious his timing is perfect he never intended to hurt or harm...n that can be seen! With a little patience, one can see this fella is indeed very disciplined and considerate 🤣
