Narciso Rodriguez for her is almost a clone for Lovely. Lovely is a bit better though 😊 Love to try the other two

I didn't like Lovely original...the lavender- too masculine for me. I am surprised so many people enjoy it. Born Lovely 🌹💕👌🏾 is beautiful...all of the bottles are so classy!!
I'm not really a fan of lovely. But I tried it out in the store on one arm, and D&G TheOne on the other arm. My husband liked Lovely ALOT. He said it reminds him of birthday parties in high school. Turns out it was the mom's he was smelling. 😂

I really like the original “ Lovely” , have owner it over the years & have a bottle of it. I haven’t tried the others. I’m not a big fan of many celebrity scents but I find this a quality one. Love the bottle also. ✨

I don't like most celebrity scents, either, but I love Lovely, JLo's Glow and Deseo and Isabella Rossellini's My Manifesto.
I'm a huge fan of the original. I started wearing it in 2014 & been my signature scent since then until now. The reformulated version quite a let down. Nothing's change on the notes but just a watered down of smelling... But the perfomance of it still on point... If you can still find an old formula u will know the differences... and i haven't got a chance to try born lovely, it's kinda hard too find. I really want it! 😔
*** btw, the old formula was produced under Coty/Lancester Company. I still have a half bottle left and i don't wanna use it 😅 the current formula under her own label; the Lovely Distribution Company
I was due to repurchase this, so thank you for the tip! Managed to buy a 50ml gift set (Coty) and 100ml bottle (Lancaster). It was harder to find the Coty distributed versions, than the Lancaster ones but there aren’t many of those either. Just realised that I may need to stock up on another bottle before they disappear completely.
I have the original Lovely partially due to your recommendation, partially because I wanted a lavender perfume. To me it belongs to the same category as Chloe, because I imagine a put-together woman in a business or office environment. People at Fragrantica all say that it's very similar to Narciso Rodriguez For Her, but I have yet to compare them.
The lavender here is quite blended into the perfume. Petite Lavande from Avon was the one that satisfied my yearning for lavender.
I love the original Lovely....but it never lasts long on my skin. I purchased Narciso Rodriguez for Her EDP in its place for better performance. Although NR is more of a rose musk rather than the lavender musk I get in Lovely. I think I may purchase Lovely again anyway....its such a beautiful scent.
Have you purchased 'Lovely' again? Current formula? I own NR EDT (black bottle)--orange blossom musk. One spray lasts all day on me. I'm considering buying a tester bottle of Lovely (for the lavender note) but I hear the current iteration has been watered down & cheapened to the point where it's not worth investing in.
I love layering this perfume with anything gourmand. The musk and woods class it up a little bit! My most used perfume (original lovely)
I just bought the original yesterday and I love it.
I've tried Lovely & Born Lovely in stores & I don't get it. They're boring & weak imo
I have all three and love them all! Lovely will always be my Top 1 and in fact my signature scent. Next is lovely sheer followed by Born Lovely. I will always love this collection and hope they never discontinue them. 🙏

LOVE this !! The one I reach for( almost ) daily. Did not really like at first, but I got hooked somehow. The woody note I think is what got me I think. :)

Lovely is very reminiscent of Narciso Edt, could pass as dupe. Lovely, out of the flankers, is the most timeless of them all
I bought this and my daughter thinks it smells like an old lady. I have tried it several times I am still not 100% sure I love it yet.

I saw on Fragrantica that she has a new Lovely flanker coming out this year, Lovely You.
I smelled it today at Kohl's. Love it! Softer opening, floral, creamy dry down. Plum blossoms, orange flower, freesia, musk, and vanilla orchid is what I can smell. Definitely romantic and closer to the skin.
Sjp Lovely is beautiful! Probably the only celebrity perfume I actually like ❤️

I’m still playing with Lovely because I’m not crazy about it, but I love lavender and powdery scents. I just feel like something is missing for me. I swatched it on one wrist and Hugo Boss The Sent Private Accord on the other, which is too sweet for me on its own, then I realized I kind of liked them together! So, I’ve been layering the two and wearing them to bed sometimes.

Lovely is perfect for layering! For example, if i mix it with some not overloaded floral scent, it comes out perfect! Then it reminds me of Narcisio Rodriguez Fleur Musk, instead of Pure Musc. 👍

Lovely is one of my favourites and my friend bought me the full box of Lovely perfume, purse spray and body cream for Xmas...When I wear it, people always comment and ask what perfume I have on...Loved SJP in Sex and The City...loved her look and acting, she's great and has star quality x
I just bought this and to me it smells very light and fresh and calm. Almost like a lavender pillow spray. I don’t smell any warmth or musk or patchouli at all. It’s soft and floral. I do like it but so so light. Not what I was expecting. And the bottle is very beautiful. I love the shape of the bottle how it fits in your hand and the top looks almost vintage.

I only have the Sheer and I love it. Very fresh. I planned to try the original because of the lavander note.
I hated the first spray of the original Lovely however the dry down is okay. I own NR edt and edp and they are far better.
Two years ago I bought that perfume (sheer) from Winners in Canada which is like TJ Maxx or Marshalls in the US, and when I opened the bottle it was just water mixed with a little bit of perfume tho the whole thing once sprayed was just water.

I love the original Lovely🥰. As of late though I do believe it’s a weaker juice than it use to be. I got the anniversary bottle because I heard it’s stronger (like the original was).

Yes I think this does have similarities to mon guerlain !
Mon guerlain has almost no lavanda, i prefer lovely, but it is closer to Narcisio Rodriguez Pure Musc, and i prefer NR, but not because of lavanda, of course. NR lasts longer, and has more like a creamy/milkish touch.
I have a Mon Guerlain sample and I don't like it. Lavender feels too dry and overpowered by vanilla. Today I got my Lovely perfume and it is a lot more fresh, in my opinion. Almost like a lavender essential oil. That's the kind of lavander I've been looking for.
I didn’t really like Born Lovely, but the original is really... lovely. It reminds me of the musk lollies we have here... floral and sweet. I get the lavender. It’s pretty...lovely 👍🏻😂🤷🏻♀️

I love the woody, lavender/lighy floral, patchouli, musky mix. Its just perfect for my taste and for the price it's hard to go wrong.

I love Lovely but it has zero staying power for me. Within an hour all trace of the scent is gone. Is the NR EDP or EDT a closer match to this? Do they last longer?
I love every thing about this fragrance range except th he actual smell.I am just not a fan of patchouli.I have had this fragrance several times and fin iui shed sever as l bottles if it.It gives great value for the buck.

I love them all!. I have all of those and Lovely You. Lovely and Sheer are very similar, but the original is muskier, Sheer is more of a fresh cut flower with some green. Lovely You is elegant baby powder and Born is so sweet, not baby powder but like sniffing a beautiful clean baby 🙂 I also have Stash and Covet which are in a totally different league. LOL. Top 2- Lovely and Sheer.
