I have done my classes in Shubhra Ma'ams batch.... She always says that u don't need to read any books , just read my notes nothing else..... And In my first mains I did exactly and end up getting 210 marks....
After that in my 2nd mains I have opted her crash course cum test series... Where she said that class notes is about explaination u can not use that language in the exam.... In this course I will tell u the language which u have to write , I did that also and got 195 marks.....
And then in my third mains , I searched online which book should I read and then I read all topics of PSIR Syllabus from those books and made short notes and in this attempt I got 270 marks ......
So in a nutshell , ye khud to exam clear kar liye uske baad aa jate hai faltu me Paid Promotion karne....
Yes,I got Ma'am's notes from one of my friends, but what I feel is that her notes are not very detailed and I dont like such notes so I always prefer books to coaching notes. I use ma'am's notes only for supplementary reading. And till now I used to think that everybody os depending on subhra mam notes and passing the exam,then why am I not able to rely completely on these notes,I always had doubt that maybe I'm not good enough like them, this is the first time I saw someone commenting same thing which I also think.
What are the books needed for PSIR? Can anyone suggest? Beacuse everyone referring to Subhra Ranjan mam notes.

@@dr.ashudhawan3545 he won’t … coz his notes are based on shubras notes … & pls don’t listen to these guys … u aren’t supposed to do PhD in optional, UPSC doesn’t expect that … just read her notes & follow Wikipedia for extra quotes (like allegory of caves, also use analogy of chariot & 2 horses) … using 'commonwealth' instead of 'state' … this will fetch u extremely good marks …

Simple read Shubhra ranjan mam's notes make your base and go for CA as much as possible and then go for any other book and that too for selected topics

@@mayursinhsodha2694 I have studied at both places bro, pyush chaubey. Is not a match to subhra. But honestly. Best approach a/c to me is have a basic reading of shubra note . Then make your own notes supplemented with references . It got me more than 320 marks 2 times .
