I've been in two minds over these cameras though I have swayed to the Panasonic. This video confirms it for me. Exactly what I was looking for thank you..
@@VidYoze yes they're both similar in price etc, I deliberately search for this comparison and was hoping the Panasonic would win as that zoom is amazing. Are the stills passable?
@@andyairshots have not really looked into the stills much but they are ok, fine for printed photos but not if you gonna crop and zoom in on the photo. Passable yes
Hi and great vid, I am looking at using one as a dashcam for recording our road trips, just wanting to know if it is at all possible to shut the screen when recording and turning it off manually. oh which is the best LOL Cheers
I know panasonic is better, but i kind of like sonys vibes better, im a filmmaker and the vibes that u get with the sony are awesome, like those 2000 vibes. in the case of the panasonic, it is good, but is not enough good for profesional fillmmaking, not even better than an iphone, and its not too bad for nostalgic images. so its in the middle, just a good handycam. sony is other thing, its 1080p but with a lot of the older handycams, i love it, im going for that one
Great video comparison. I have had the Panasonic for over a year and love it. It blows the Sony out of the water in every respect. 100 percent love it.
The other advantage the panasonic has is that you can change the NTSC 60fps and PAL 50fps setting. czcams.com/video/mChAeQze0wY/video.htmlsi=67xK5IH77N0ugi4q

Glad it helped you, I prefer the Panasonic too even though every comparison I see favours the Sony

Let's see your iPhone do 50 times optical zoom.
Like my Sony, lightweight, cheap, ideal for clean hdmi out for live streams and it runs of powerbank if I. Need to run for hours
Based on this video I'd choose the Panasonic.

Better imagen on Panasonic but I bought the sony for $121 so I can't complain
Essa Filmadora da Panasonic é muito muito superior a filmadora da Sony
