    I am 60 and proud of it. I do not want to look any other age. There is absolutely nothing wrong with looking your age. Why are people so caught up in others' opinions of the age they look? How about focusing character? What kind of person you are is much more interesting.

    • @naturalkinkycurlymarie7496
      @naturalkinkycurlymarie7496 Před 5 lety +13

      At 60 I would be proud of that age too but would not mind looking 10-15yrs younger at all. Nothing wrong with looking younger either. It's not always about other people's opinions. Most women in my family look 15yrs younger than their actual age anyway so I'm looking forward to that.

      @meacelestin Před 5 lety +4

      Yeah, snacking feels like the problem, as well as processed foods. Not to guilt anyone, but I live in the Third World and whenever I got to North America, I am...disturbed by the fact that adults, children and pets all rely on snacks all the time. Are people really hungry or do they feel they need to eat because of habit or emotional comfort? If you eat at 6-7 pm, why do you need another snack before you go to sleep!?! Lastly, people don't sleep enough. I guess that's why they eat again, bc the last meal has been hours ago?

      @donnaross9399 Před 4 lety

      I’m type 2 as well & actually no don’t need the 3 meals& 3 snacks. You start gradually to increase the time between meals & don’t snack. Low carbs is very important. I have ocular & foot neuropathy from my type 2 & years of bad eating. After 10 months of low carb & intermittent fasting, my blood sugar is normal, I’ve lost over 75 lbs, I’ve regained feeling in my feet and my eyes are improving. I’ve decreased my diabetes meds by half & stopped my blood pressure meds all together. The only reason I still take my diabetes meds is my doctor wants me to lose 25 more lbs and the meds I take help with weight loss.

    Diabetics eat constantly to keep their blood sugar at a certain range. My husband eats all the time when I’m trying to restrict my eating. So difficult when he always eating sandwiches, fruits, chips, cookies, pretzels, etc to keep his blood sugar level up.

      Dear R. Sticher, please check out Dr. Berg's vids on intermittent fasting and keto. Diabetes runs deep into my family. I started IF and learning about insulin resistance. The lie we were told for so long that eating often was better, when it's the opposite. It's Sat U fast until i feel my body needs food. I know getting ur Husband on board will be tough. My ex- is diabetic and still doing what got him in the mess, now he's having problems with his kidneys.... I tried to tell help him, but he says ; he knows his body. I pray for him and just focus on keeping me healthy at 53. I wish u all the best....😊

      Those foods he is eating are not healthy. They are only making his sugar levels spike. I had anemia and pre-diabetic. I started exercising again and leaning more into a high protein and kinda into a keto Lifestyle...Thank God I no longer have those insulin sugar spikes.

      Going moderate to high protein vegan greatly helped my Mom and myself with normalizing sugar levels and feeling balanced. We still usually don't eat the regular three meals a day, we feel the smaller portions throughout the day are also helpful- and he must cut out soda if he's drinking that and only drink green tea and water. The soda alone has a bunch of sugar and the diet soda is full of chemicals that ironically cause weight gain
