I hate how they made Sam so dumb in the fourth season. He had so much potential in season 2 then all of a sudden they just made him the comedic relief. And don’t even get me started on Bram...
As much as I love Samcedes (probably my 2nd fave ship in the whole show as Brittana), they should have stuck with their original goal of making Sam Kurt's love interest. They had the BEST set up for it and you can't tell me Sam doesn't RADIATE bi energy
@@leapittmon8626 Oh ok. I guess I thought that you thought it would be unpopular was because this is an unpopular glee opinions video. But I definitely agree with you that Jon was indeed one of the best male vocalists on the show.
They literally mixed Rachel brattiness (expect people actually call her out on it), Quinn’s manipulation, and Santana rudeness without the good insults, stir together in boiling hot water and get the hot mess that writer made for her. They honestly didn’t know how to write shy characters so they just made her a extrovert and did what I mention above.
@ohmyyoongles no... what I mean is that pointing fingers and constantly shaming other people won't make ANYTHING. people can change, and what i think we should do instead is give people a chance to educate themselves. i understand if a lot of y'all don't seem capable of forgiving darren (even if, like i said, some of the things weren't true/were taken out of context), i truly believe that he has changed into a better person now.
Actually i agree with most of them .-. And also i think Will was kinda responsible from Rachel being such an egoist, egocentric character, i'm pretty sure that if he had stoped her in season 1 she wouldn't be like that
Actually he tried in season 1. She did that thing where she quit, then she didn't speak and he had to shout on her. He even gave Quinn and Sam her part and she still behaved like a spoiled brat. So really, it's just Rachel being Rachel.
Also he planted drugs in a students locker and then used them to blackmail him into joining his club, because he knew that otherwise he would fail. He also made out with the coach of the opposite team for his own personal gain when in a relationship. He was a terrible person, but everyone seemed to see him as some kind of saint.
@@nosuchthingasgoodcows7003 terrible person like wtf?! Wow he has his faults but comeon he is the reason why all of the og glee kids are so succesfull he is a great person. He didn't go to broadway so he can coach glee club he always put the glee kids 1st and helped them alot even though the relationships between the teachers/coaches and theire pupil are kinda strange
The whole episode was Will Schuester being a terrible person. He went after a taken woman. He was going to perform a sexual song with a 16 year old and he made Sam insecure about his body so he would leave the show
@@danisnotonchairs3561 i do agree with you. Will as a character was a whole mess and there's a lot of questionable things that happened throughout the show but i found out now that i only liked it because of the songs 😂 yet i understand your point
AGREED. in addition, mine are: 1. sam was super underrated and actually likable in the beginning, but then strangely adopted a new personality in later seasons...? wasn't as likable anymore 2. rachel and finn are actually good together, but because they're both so annoyingly unlikable that the other characters are too good for them 3. quinn deserved better 4. healthiest, most mature relationship was brittana 5. sue had some really good points 6. becky was annoying af 7. ridiculous that rachel got into nyada and kurt didn't... she messed up her audition and her make up song wasn't enough to forget her failing the first time 8. santana was actually one of the most caring people on the show 9. mercedes was the star 10. mercedes/santana duets were the best
i dont think Sam has changed, I mean, I think he won more screentime then we see more of him but in my opinion he is one of the best characters, most of the male characters were problematic but sam even with the "change" continued a good boy. he treated mercedes / quinn / brittany / rachel and even santana how they deserves to be treated and he was a good friend to blaine. besides small things he did like the little conversation he had with the marley about being poor. he is a great character i love him
Thank goodness someone said it about Becky, she was sweet and funny in the beginning, but after a while I couldn't stand any scene she was in because of her rude nature to everyone
AGREE!! In the school shooting episode they were all like "Oh no Tina and Brittney aren't here omg" and i was like ?? Did you even notice sugar is not there???
Just gonna say, in the beginning, I thought Klaine was actually a rlly cute couple and Blaine was a really good person. But they ruined both Blaine and Klaine with all of the cheating and lying, which was so out of character for Blaine. Remember the episode when Kurt was texting someone else who he liked and then Blaine had a total meltdown and accused him of cheating? And then he goes and cheats on Kurt as soon as he goes away? By writing out of character stuff and hypocrisy like that, the writers completely ruined Klaine. It became toxic and really forced in the later seasons, and just overall quite annoying.
Well this is merely my opinion and my feelings are a lot involved in this but every single time I think about it I get so mad at Kurt when he cheated, not Blaine. Explanation: Kurt had an emotional affair which he tried to hide and when he was exposed he said it wasn't cheating even though Blaine felt terrible but Kurt laughed him off. Kurt built up his fictional fantasy with some other guy while Blaine had a one night stand, felt really sorry after that and with a first chance he got he flew to New York and told Kurt that he cheated. Were both cheating? Yes. But the way each of them handled it afterwards is what I care about. Blaine was immediately sorry and miserable, Kurt was not even though he has been caught. They were both lonely in those situations and didn't communicate very well with each other. Does that make them toxic? I think that only makes them human. And also judging by Blaine's character I think that Blaine would have never done such thing. I think the writers just didn't know what sort of drama to bring there and how to break those two up - while they could broke up for the long distance thing.
I agree with Kevin being one of the best male singers he was extremely underrated. I didn't mind season 4 but think the writers should have gone a little longer on Marleys eating disorder instead of dropping it so quickly. Also I think in the cover with Lea and Darren, Lea was actually bringing herself down to his level. Also you can't really base someones voice solely on a bad cover
I've always thought that Artie/Kevin should've been the male lead vocalist His voice is amazing alsooooo i loved the troubletones i wished they had more justice Edit: when santana was outed i literally cried and i hated finn for awhile
Coming from some one who deals with the same problems, I think it's a shame how Marley's eating disorder was only a point for one episode. Considering they spent an entire bloody season on Will and Terry's imaginary baby, they could've continued with that plot a bit longer. Same with her being poor.
The show had a weird obsession of putting Finn in situations where his actions are kind of understandable if they were one off, but because they kept doing it he built up a pattern of behavior. His fight with Kurt? Well, Kurt really was the aggressor there at a time when all of Finn's emotional support pillars were crumbling. Outing Santana? She kept pushing and pushing, and she knew she was doing it, until he snapped and said something he shouldn't have in frustration. The way he spoke about Sue's baby? He was actually making a salient point that would have been just fine if he didn't use a stupid, hurtful term. Any single one of his major failings in the series could have been excused in isolation, but taken as a whole he's a guy who consistently uses hateful language and turns people's minority status into a weapon against them.
He was a terrible ally in every possible way: not just because of that, but also for straight up outing Santana (even though lots of butthurt fans claim Finn was right). I hated that he never actually had to face the consequences of his stupid actions: somehow (and mostly because of Mr. Schuester's weird obsession with him), he always got away with this kind of stuff and was suddendly perceived as a hero by everyone else. Cory was great and everything, but Finn's character was just too annoying to me most of the time
I think that Tina, Sam, Quinn, Artie, Sugar, Rory, and Joe are the most underrated characters that could've had so much more storylines and development
1. Agree! A great tribute to the classic 2. Yeah, the really screwed Jake over in season 5. 3. Meh, more performances would have been nice but the ND deserved the regional win. 4. Disagree 5. (And Jonathan Geoff, but he was a guest star so you may not counted him) 6. Disagree but the balance between Ohio and NYC could have been done a lot better 7. PREACH! 8. I would say Noah but Dave was good. 9. Season 3 for me is the best. Season 1 has it’s strange moments, the characters aren’t fleshed out enough and it only cares about 8/12 New Directions. 10. Disagree, there are better performances by far. 11. Yep the newbies where more interesting than the S4 lot and just as talented as the original cast. A limited season a even more limited time as they also had the day goodbye to the first generation cast gave them a bad deal. 12. NOOOOO! Season three has the best episodes of the series, (3x22, 3x15, 3x16, 3x11, 3x21, 3x09, 3x06). Season 3 has the most satisfying to any season bar season 6, for the first time in 3x21 everyone in the show is happy. These 15 kids and one man we’ve seen struggle for the past 3 years aren’t losers even if it’s only for 1 episode. 13. He has good and bad like everyone else, the outing was not right but he is good guy at heart. 14. Disagree, Lea is a star, annoying as her and Rachel are it is undeniable. Darren is great actor, seriously he killed in American Crime story and fully deserves that Emmy. 15. Yeah Klaine took a nosedive after about episode 16 of season 3 the cheating toxicity between them both ruined a great LGBT ship that was groundbreaking at it consecption with that kiss
I don’t get y’all lmao. Darren criss is an AMAZING singer and definitely deserved that Emmy. Lea is also immensely unique. Also saying that we shouldn’t hate David Karovski but Blaine when what he did was much worse is kind of contradictory
I HATE what Blaine did either buttttt what did Blaine do that Kurt ruined the engagement for? Beside the fact that he basically cheated on him countless time😂
Favour Jenna well Blaine is just so clueless and mean tbh, like when he felt insecure and tried to fatten up Kurt to make himself feel better, but it’s just overall that they had problem that made them so wrong
Favour Jenna Apart from Kurt and Sam there aren’t really any glee male characters that have redeeming qualities for when they pull something shitty lmao.
I really don't like how brittany, quinn and Puck were ignored after they all graduated. They had so much potential and they were almost completely ignored and had barely any plot lines.
Klaine was so great when it started out and then just progressively got worse and worse sadly, it had potential but between the cheating and crazy breakups and stuff it got harder to watch :(
I agree with everything except about Darren Criss' acting : he's not amazing on Glee but he's really great in other roles (like on American Crime Story where he's incredible)
He had his moments on that show, but there were also many times where I cringed from his overacting and his inability to properly handle an emotional scene.
He was also amazing as Harry Potter. “Glee” both overused him and underused him. Overused him because he had most of the male solos, underused him because he has so many more talents than just a good voice and Glee only showed us a tiny glimpse of them.
Damian McGinty (Rory Flanagan) is one of the best vocalists to have ever graced the glee set and everyone seems to forget about him and that hurts cause Rory was one of my favourite characters from the entire series
I’m pretty sure Jake’s character was ruined because Ryders actor (Blake Jenner) was dating Marleys actor (Melissa Benoist) and didn’t want her having even a fake TV relationship so he made them change it. Melissa Benoist not too long ago talked about their relationship and how it was toxic and abusive.
And I agree. Lea’s and Darren’s characters were kinda overrated BUT I don’t think they’re bad actors at all, I actually think they’re really good. Remember how hurt Rachel was when she lost her opportunity at her NYADA audition or how Blaine was so sad performing Teenage Dream to Kurt after cheating on him? I think those were really good scenes that showed both of their acting skills
I remember LOVING THE HELL out of season 3, but as I've gotten older I've realized how blind-sided I had been. I only truly enjoyed it becuase my couple (Brittana) were together and happy, and (and I still cant take this away) the music, constantly, every week, was AWESOME. But honestly? By the end of season 2, Brittany actually started to feel a little smarter. Like, she held conversations with people, and although some of the things she said were silly, she talked like an... adult. In season 3 I feel like she was pretty much reverted to a child, when and if she talked. During this whole outing thing there was not a SINGLE scene between Santana and Brittany to talk about any of this?! Amazingly... awful. In the words of Naya Rivera "You were mute for a whole season"
PREACH!!! I also mostly like s3 because of brittana, but making Brittany mute for most part of season 3 was a hate crime, like the whole Brittney/Brittany episode only happened because of her and suddenly y'all gonna pretend she's not a important character wtf?!?!
Boy I swear, you and I have very similar thoughts. I agree with almost all of this list. I never understood the season 3 hype because the Troubletones, the covers, and them finally winning nationals were probably the only good things to come from season 3. From what I remember, that was when a bunch of new writers came in and it was soooooo obvious because the story lines got crappier and crappier, not to mention more and more characters became even more annoying. Also can we take a minute to acknowledge that Mike Chang FINALLY got a story in season 3, but even that was pushed to the back burner and the only one who even knew that he would possibly have to quit the club was Tina!! Terrible writing. Everything you said about the Troubletones was true. Season 2 is my personal favorite just because I thought it was the funniest and the story lines were not too dramatic or over the top, but I do think that season 1 is the second best. And finally Santana being outed. . .I swear, I cannot believe that I have to explain this to people. I literally have said the exact same thing that you put in your video: The writers made her over the top mean, especially at the beginning of Season 3, so that people (mainly people that were not fans of Santana to begin with) could justify Finn outing her. Finn and Rory were literally trying to "out insult" Santana and once Finn realized that they were not going to win that battle, he tells her biggest secret. And everyone acted like it was okay because he sang some sappy version of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" . . .wtf!?!?!!? No, that was a horrible thing to do, regardless of how nice or mean Santana was. After that, I never liked Finn anymore although he was not one of my faves to begin with. Honestly, if they had just admitted that what he did was WRONG and made him apologize, it probably would have been a lot better. . . ugh, my lunch break is over therefore my rant is over, but I loved this video!!!!!!!
@@DeeL3 lmao I think I legitimately loved almost every episode that season, some favorites have to be Britney/Brittany, Grilled Cheesus, Duets, The Rocky Horror Glee Show, The Substitute, The Sue Sylvester Shuffle, Blame it on the Alcohol, Original Song, and Born This Way (a lot lmao)
Dee Dee I do agree that no one should be outed, which is why I feel it might have been karma for santana because she threatened karofsky with being outed if he didn’t agree to be her beard
I couldn't agree more with Finn. Most of my friends love Finn and say stuff like: "I need a Finn in my life!" Honey, you need anything but a Finn in your life. I started disliking him in season 1. He cheated on Quinn with Rachel (Second episode? Or third? I don't know anymore) And then pretended to be the victim! Of course what Quinn did was worse but still. And then he called Kurt a fag and I was like "???!!!" And in season 2 he motivated Quinn to cheat on Sam! I admit Quinn was bad there too but still. But what really made me hate him was the outing. He outed Santana in front of the whole school for gods sake! And one episode later he's like the hero again who helps Santana through it? Like what is happening here?
And what about Emma? Oh how I loved her when she stood up to Will and called him a manwhore in front of every teacher in the school. And how she refused to be a nice lady who gets swooned whenever Will apologizes and doesn't care about her feelings or how she felt. And when she ran off of her wedding! And when she stood her ground and told Will that she won't be moving with him just so he could fulfill his dream. I think Emma's development throughout the series is great and she deserved so so much better!
I agree with ALL, except your season 3 & 6 opinions and that Lea and Darren are overrated. Yes, I hate the Finchel and Klaine drama in season 3, but everything else is awesome. Season 6 is probably the worst season, imo. Its only redeeming qualities are the newbies. Lea is in my top 3 favorite female vocalists. Darren is awesome and ridiculously talented, but I do agree that his singing is just average (average for a *professional singer*). As for Finn, I never actually gave it much thought. I always kind of liked him most of the time. But your reasons for hating him are very sound and the longer I think about it, the more I agree with you on this. Every other opinion is spot-on! Also, THANK YOU for giving love to the Rocky Horror episode! It's hands down one of my favorites! Also, thank you for appreciating At the Ballet for what it is! I wouldn't put it in my top 5, but it's up there. I love it so much. I'd totally understand it if people ranked it #1 even.
finally someone who doesn't just see blaine as this puppy dog eyed, innocent cutie. He did so many terrible things. He always did stuff out of pettiness or jealousy. Hes a big yikes for me and idk why hes one of the most beloved characters
I don't think Finn was a bad person, for me he was affected by several things that happened in his life, like his father's death or the fact that Quinn cheated on him
This video is really old but I just want to comment, the only reason Finn was a lead was because Rachel wanted him to be. His voice was mediocre at best and it’s literally a plot point that he can’t dance. There were so many other boys in glee that could do exactly what he did but better.
I know I came here late, but I'm glad that someone finally agrees with me. Finn's voice was in no way remarkable and honestly, his actions through the show were pretty questionable at times
i think finn has a good heart, he just did many questionable things. finn was what brought glee together in the first episode, he was the glue to glee club. trash is not the term i would use about him.
i think the first half of season 3 was really good and they tried some different storylines with other character e.g. mike, santana ect. but the second half was literally all about rachel it was SO annoying
I agree that darren is pretty aversive at singing, but he is damn talented still! and I don’t agree with you saying he can’t act, I actually think he was one of the best actors of glee, I just didn’t really like his character.
The way Blaine sung teenage dream to kurt after Blaine cheated on Kurt is so emotional and gets me every time. So no one can tell me that Darren can’t act. And even though he has a pretty average voice he is still one of the best singers on glee because he has emotion and passion in his voice. But I have to agree that Blaine was a pretty toxic character
Ok, I love Fin with my whole heart. However, the show stopped focusing on his personality in season two and just focused on the bad things he did. His storyline kind of faded out and the show draumatisized him by creating Finchel. It made comments on how Fin was insecure. If they would have focused more on that, more people would like him. By the way, he’s a great singer. Fight me
Oh, yeah i really loved Finn on season one (you're having my baby aside) but he really fell for me after that because the show only focused on his relationship with Rachel and he became as smug as Rachel without being nearly as talented. But season 3 and 4 he became one of best singers on show and i was really sad that he didn't get a solo season 4 cuz it was the peak of his voice, however on the first two seasons wasn't great i just call it bs when people say Puck was better when that's not true at all
If Finn never opened his mouth Santana would have come out to her grandma and parents when she was ready and not when she was forced into doing it so I agree with the whole Finn thing
Lea Michele was extremely jealous of Diana Agron and Naya Rivera for being the very BEST actresses on the show and HATED Amber for being the best singer, period. Naya got it worst when you combine it with the fact that she was the second-best singer after Amber.
I think I Darren's voice is dependant on the song he sings. Fighter was an amazing song and showed of is vocal skills amazingly whilst dont you want me didn't.
Yeah, people are too quick to say a voice is good or bad rather than suited to different situations. Lea/Rachel is an amazing belter but her ability to cover pop rock songs was actually not great ("Gives You Hell" was atrocious, fight me). Darren/Blaine was the opposite, he could do pop and rock really well but try having him sing "Don't Rain on my Parade" and take a guess at how that would work out.
Ok Darren Chris is NOT a God awful actor have you seen him in things other than glee because he is friggin amazing! You cant say he is a bad actor after seeing him in a cheesy teen drama musical series (i love glee but that is basically a good description of it). I agree with everything else tho! Sorry if i was a little harsh but he is a great actor... not an amazing one, but a great one.
I personally only watched Glee for the songs. To me none of the characters seemed realistic or too stereotypical. The only character that was realistic, and I hate to say it, was Finn. Cory Monteith did a great job portraying what an actual highschooler is like. Lots of the stuff he says is something a regular highschooler would say, but no one really means it as much as they may seem. Bring in highschool I see people throw around insults all the time to others, but be just as willing to help that same person in any situation. That's the same kind of idea Finn portrayed in the series, or at least most of it. Not to say that the things he did or said we're justified, but the role is an accurate representation of high schoolers in the modern day. Besides all that I never really enjoyed the dialogue parts of Glee except in season 1. I just liked watching the performances and singing along to songs I could. Most of The characters in this show are too stereotypical throughout the entire series to even consider them having an arc. It's truly disappointing to see the writers have so much room to make great characters that developed in character rather than just accomplishments.
If you don’t understand why Darren has an Emmy you should watch the show he got his Emmy for. You can’t tell me that Assignation of Gianni Versace was an awful performance..
-finn literally got so many passes because 'haha, he tall and goofy, a lovable giant' and we're just expected to forgive him because he comes off as trying to do his best. -i totally thought the scandals car scene with blaine and kurt was gonna have a lot more repercussions with blaine groveling and kurt reconsidering their relationship, but kurt had to tuck his own tail and seek blaine out after blaine was apparently avoiding him too, and then we get a meager apology from him, if you could call it that. -i'm not gonna come for his acting, but i totally agree with what you said about darren criss' voice. idk, i think he as a person just exudes passion and charisma when he performs, and that gets seen as talent, rather than just the enthusiasm that it is. if you've ever seen the video of him singing as prince eric at the hollywood bowl for the song 'if only'... so many people were defending him like "he's said before that he's not the best with sustaining notes!' lol then he shouldn't have gotten the part? -totally agree that the show should've stayed in new york- only, i think all of the remaining glee club members should've graduated after season 4, and not in the middle of season 5- which was a weird timing for the show's progression. that way, they could've started season 5 focusing on all of them in new york and not transitioning so much back and forth, because it really threw off the flow. but i think i would probably miss sue too much lol. -bro i love dave's development so much. you literally hate him so much in the beginning, because he's constantly tormenting kurt, and then when he kisses kurt- you see the reason why he's so outwardly homophobic and antagonistic, especially against kurt- because he has so much pent up frustration and anger at not being able to express himself and for despising who he is on the inside, and targeting kurt because he's envious of kurt for being strong and unashamed to be publicly gay. And then, we get some sort of rekindling when kurt goes under dave and santana's protection squad, and dave gets emotional about how sorry he is for hurting kurt. then, he transfers schools and we think we might never see him again. but then we see him at scandals and realize he's slowly trying to edge his way into accepting who he is at his own pace, and is actually fucking happy for once (we love soft dave). then, he even tries asking kurt out, which is so brave of him, only for the douches at breadstixx to be dicks to him. and we then are lulled into a false sense of security, thinking dave is just on this high ascension into his identity, only to get hit with dave not being able to handle the bullying and being scrutinized and attempting suicide, and realizing this is what he'd been putting kurt through all along. then, we see him come back in season 6, being a proud and public gay man, no longer ashamed to be who he is anymore. fuckin' love it. you could argue that santana is the same, but her acceting herself really doesn't change her outward behavior towards others.
@@dwtsglee lol it seems like you just don't like him and that's all, a mediocre actor does not win an emmy, a golden globe, a critic's choice and a SAG just saying
I accept your opinion and I admit that in some scenes in Glee Darren could've done a better job but he didn't win an emmy because of Glee he won an emmy for his perfomance in american crime story wich personally, i think is pretty pretty good.
agreed with almost all of them... but i loved finn. he was realistic. yeah he messed up a lot, and sometimes had bad ideals. but he had a good heart. and i feel like that made him one of the most relatable characters. he had depth.
Kevin McHale was the best male vocalist in Glee. He sang so easy, form soft songs, but he could also add a lot of distortion which didn’t sound forced at all. Also his kind of nasal sound is really nice too. Chris Colfer comes in second
When Glee first aired I had relatives and neighbors kids tell my kids that they weren’t allowed to watch glee because it was either a “worldly show” a “ungodly show,” or “because it shows gays [some parents used the F word] as if they were normal and acceptable.” Christians hated this show, and hate is an understatement, loathing is a more descriptive word. Once at a family reunion I made a glee comic reference, and everyone looked at me weird. I laughed and said like it was obvious “Glee? TV show. Hello?” And they all looked at me with disgust, “WE don’t watch THAT SHOW, we don’t talk about it, and would appreciate it if you didn’t talk about such filth when children and young adults are near!” My family and I were specifically not invited to the next 5 thanksgiving and Christmas get togethers because of that one comment. In fact the very first time I heard about the show was from our pastor who gave a sermon WARNING the congregation about it, how it insidiously promoted sinful lifestyles, etc. We are talking a 45 minute sermon on how vile such a show was, and it aired BEFORE CHILDREN’S BEDTIMES! The horror! Of course I watched and fell in love with it, and just because I’m evil watched it with my kids. LOL! The right wing evangelical Christian Republicans created a campaign to reject this show and complain about every lewd aspect they found in it. Ever wonder why the gay relationships were so chaste? Fear of feedback.
i wish we got to see the other glee cast members more after highschool. like quinn, mercedes, mike and etc. i understand not all of them did music after high school but like more recurring apperances
i personally don't agree that finn is an awful person. i get he's done some bad things, but that is what seemed like the right thing in his mind. he never realized certain things, like outing santana, were bad because he just wanted to help and fix things. he was naive to how his action could hurt people and let his emotional take control over his rational thinking.
Ok so my unpopular opinion is that Mike Chang was actually a good singer. The writer just didn’t give Harry Shun Jr. much of a chance to sing and Mike deserves so much better But overall, I definitely agree with all of these, especially 9, 3, and 1; Klaine was toxic as hell, and yes, Finn was an asshole. And NO ONE deserves to be outed. The fact that santana not deserving to be outed is an unpopular opinion is disgusting
1. he is not a good singer. 2.klaine is not more toxic then every other couple in the show so fu 🙃 3. Santana deserved the outing and Finn is one of the best characters Byeee
I wouldn't say Mike was a good singer but he was far from a bad singer. I liked his tone and his voice had better resonance than some of the other characters. I agree that he was held back and deserved better though. My theory is that because he completely outdances the other male characters so he was written as a bad singer on purpose to ensure that he stays in the background. That way, he doesn't upstage the other male characters in any way.
Glee absolutely didn't do Darrens voice justice and neither did that clip you used, i recommend listening to "to have a home" from a very potter sequel to kinda hear what a great voice darren actually has
Also as a starkid fan i will say that darren seems like an absolutely amazing person, who still really cares for his older friends even tho he has moved on to such bigger things. He's just a guy who likes to wear nailpolish and jam with his guitar, there's really absolutely no reason to hate that beautiful man.
My season ranking: 3-4-2-1-6-5 With Mercedes, Quinn, and Kurt as my favorites. While Rachel, Will, and Blaine are my least favorites, but all are good singers.
I’m so very mad at the writers who decided to “ruin” klaine. In season 2 and early of season 3, they were the cutest couple known to man kind. (in my opinion) but after Blaine started to become a hypocrite and the writers made all the cheating and toxicity occur, they really lost their amazing I guess cuteness? This was such a shame to me because I loved them so much. (But to be fair I still love them even though their relationship was very rough at times.) I just really wished the writers would keep klaine as a healthy, happy, cute af couple. Ngl, I thought they went a bit too far with the cheating and sort. (If you know what I mean) anyways... that’s my view on it...
i feel like karofsky having the best character growth is a very popular opinion. the unpopular opinion for that would probably be that PUCK had the best character growth for me and then karofsky
Not really. The whole fandom agrees Puck has the best character development, and everyone pretty much forgets Karosfky, but i think there's no need to rank them
I agree, I mean I liked season 2 klaine when they were both in the warblers and their relationship was just starting out, but when Blaine moved to Kurt's school it kinda just went downhill We all know who the best people in the show really were, some are my opinion but, Santana was there for anyone she loved at anytime. Mercedes and Mike were always there for the glee club despite having such bright futures in dance and music. I love Kurt, but that's because of how funny his sarcasm is
#15: I agree! This episode has some of my favorite performances from the show (Sweet Transvestite, Touch a Touch, Time Warp, etc.) and I just really overall enjoyed it. It gets too much hate. #14: FINALLY! I get massively irritated when people brand Jake a horrible person when, throughout all of season four, he had proven himself to be a genuinely loving boyfriend who had no problems about not taking the next step with Marley (see: 4x14, I Do) and then suddenly got revamped into a huge jerk. What a genuine waste. (Also, does anyone else get annoyed when people who hate Jake for cheating and pressuring Marley fawn over characters like Blaine, who attempted to sexually assault Kurt when he was drunk, as well as cheated on him and blamed him for it?) #13 : I mean, of course. I'm happy they showcased voices that didn't get as much recognition in ND for their setlist, but it was so unbelievably dumb to have them win against the Troubletones. They slapped harder in one song than than ND did in three. #12 : Honestly, I've never liked Will, and I think this was why. #11: This is very accurate. Alex's range is absolutely insane and Kevin's soul is just the best. These two voices don't get enough love, along with Tike, Quinn, and the season six newbies. #10: I agree. I don't hate seasons 4 and 5 as much (even though they're still the bottom two for me) and I would've missed the newbies, but I really would have loved to see all of the S3 New Directions graduate and live their lives outside of Ohio. It would have been really interesting. #9: The fact that some people say she deserved this is absolutely disgusting. Oh, and this is where I started hating Finn- yes, she was being vicious and rude, but that's no excuse to basically yell out loud that she's a lesbian in a crowded hallway in a bigot state and a school that bullied your own half-brother out of it and endangered his safety. Oh, and he didn't even apologize. #8: I'd say it's both Dave and Puck. I do actually really enjoy Puck's development: in season one, he was tossing kids in dumpsters and after three seasons of development he's taking Becky to prom in cereal box crowns. Dave's arc was just lovely. #7: I somewhat agree. I like certain aspects of other seasons more, mainly the fact that Santana and Brittany get much more focus, but season one is certainly a classic and I do enjoy it. #6: It's not in my top five, but it is certainly beautiful and gets nowhere near enough praise. #5: Thank you so much for saying this! Apart from whatever the hell was going on with The Hurt Locker (Parts 1 & 2) and all the stupid Klaine drama, everything in this season was better than the two that proceeded it. Brittana got some of its best content, Rachel wasn't as horrible, and the newbies were all super fun to watch and felt like a breath of fresh air with their own original storylines. #4: I love certain components of season three, like the Nationals win, the new people who came in, some of the best music, and a few of the best episodes (Michael, On My Way, Nationals, etc.) but it gets way too much hype. I mean, how can a season with garbage episodes like The First Time and The Spanish Teacher be so overwhelmingly loved? #3: He just sucks, and I've never understood why he was considered such a beacon of light, love, and all that is pure and good on the show. He's also so blatantly bigoted and whiny that it's just laughable. No disrespect to Cory, of course. #2: I have to respectfully disagree. That one clip is actually pretty bad, but other than that I think Darren is really talented, and I love his voice. Lea is absolutely more well-suited for broadway, but I think she's also wonderful, even if I just prefer other voices. They both sometimes stumble when they act, but other than that I personally love and respect them both. #1: Possibly the most horrifyingly overrated ship I've ever seen. The constant toxicity, abuse, and lack of trust shown in their relationship is horrible, and I've never liked them and never will. Great video! Sorry for the essay, whoops.
The troubletones survivor/i will survive was the best performance of that sectionals and should've won. If they had planned for the New DIrections to win they shouldn't have made the troubletones performance so good and toned it down a bit.
#1 yes yeah and yes! I don't care if Klaine is supposed to be "endgame" or whatever. Kurt is currently living his best live with his boyfriend Elliott in NYC while Blaine is still in Ohio doing...stuffs.
I actually agree with a lot of these. Especially about how Season 1 was the best! It had the best storylines hands down and the music was fantastic too, especially the regionals setlist!
#15 - AGREE I LOVE ROCKY HORROR #14- AGREE . I liked Jake🥺 #13 - AGREE. They were actually amazing and I really loved the group #12 - AGREE #11 - ehh. I agree with Kevin but I also think Johnston Groff #10 - AGREE it flopped in the final seasons #9 - AGREEEEEEE #8 - AGREE . I liked him after he came out #7 - AGREEEEEE SEASON ONE WAS THE BEST AHHHH #6 - ehhhhh. It was AMAZING but don’t think top 5 #5 - AGREE. Most were amazing but a few episodes flipped but SEASON SIX WAS SO GOOD #4 - disagree . I LOVED THAT SEASON #3 - he was in the early seasons and when he was in a bad mood BUT MY GOD I LOVE HIM #2 - DARREN CRISS IS MY LOVE #1 - DISAGREE - KLAINE IS MY FAVE COUPLE
I agree with everything but Darren Criss being overrated mainly because he started from such simple beginnings and then became this amazing Broadway actor. Everything else I 100% agree with.
i agree with all of them, but there's one more u can maybe add to ur list i really feel like santana's come out was forced and rushed by everyone from glee, especially finn
I really like that you included Finn being a human trash can as one of your opinions. I never liked him, but most opinions really favour him and I could never understand why.
Thank you!The trouble tones were so much better than the New Directions...their performance was empowering and stunning and the new directions performance reminded me of what they perform in birthday parties at McDonald's for seven-year olds
Here are my unpopular opinions: - Finnchel were the actual villains of the show and none of them deserved to be the leaders, plus it was super annoying that they always got away with the stupid stuff they did/said - Will Schuester was creepy at a whole other level ever since the first season - Finn's voice and character was overrated (Cory was amazing tho) - Heather Morris is an amazing actress, even though at first she was just supposed to be a leading dancer on the show - Why the hell was Rachel there during the "I kissed a girl" performance??? - Kevin is great, but Artie's character was pretty annoying and mysoginistic as hell - Tina's character had a terrible development: she became super stuck up and she was just trying so hard to be like Rachel Berry. It wasn't even funny - Had they been straight (or bi lol), I think Blaintana would've been awesome - Klaine was one of the most toxic couples on the show - The whole Beth thing was probably one of the dumbest storylines, as well as Terry's fake pregnancy - Despite the circumstances, Becky should've definitely had some kind of punishment after bringing a gun to school and making everyone think there was an actual shooting - Quinncedes friendship deserved way more screentime - People claim Quinn was a bitch, but Kitty was way worse, and Bree was the worst of all. I can't believe people actually saw her as the "new Santana Lopez" - "Nationals" should've been the actual final episode - The puppet episode should've never happened - Jesse was despicable - Santana and Mercedes carried the whole damn show: they were the best vocalists and it pisses me off how the writers really tried to make us think that the ND were better than the Troubletones - Santana and Dani's relationship could've been awesome: they had just too little episodes - Finn DID out Santana, and it makes me mad that he was seen as a hero after all what happened - The only newbies I liked were Marley and Unique. The rest of them (on season 4 and afterwards), were super plain and even annoying - Coach Beiste's transition storyline could've been handled wayyy better - Holly Holiday was actually iconic and I can't believe people disliked her. Also, Holly and April were hilarious together - It would've been interesting if Rachel had ended up single (also, what the hell were the writers thinking when they put Rachel and Sam together?) - Sam was a lovely boyfriend: he deserved so much better - There's no way you can convince me that Quinn was straight lmao - Glee was a super biphobic show - Mike and Tina should've been endgame - I hated Kurt's voice and I always thought his performances were the most boring on the show
That’s what you missed on Glee yeah, your wrong New directions>>>>troubletones (that's why they one) Trash can >>>>jelaous brittana stan Klaine is the most popular couple on the Show with a reason lmao
Lola Birke And that reason is? They were the most toxic show in the show. Me saying that the troubletones are better than new directions is my opinion. Yes, they have done some good songs but I prefer the troubletones. So please go do your research on what an opinion is and come back once you’ve learned.
That’s what you missed on Glee "most toxic couple on the Show" lol literally no couple was more toxic then finchel. Klaine became a little toxic in season 4-6 because when cory died they were the main couple. Brittana is toxic, not that much but just because they had not the half on screentime then klaine, so.... they are the most popular couple on the Show with a reason. And the troubletones were annoying as hell and they had 1-2 Songs that i liked but were nothing against the new directions. Even when Rachel was not in the competition, the troubletones lost
Lola Birke And how exactly is Brittana and Finchel toxic? Klaine has been toxic right from the start. Remember when Blaine sexually harassed Kurt? I do. Remember when they got in a 5 hour argument about toothpaste? I do. And I see you have not learned what an opinion is yet so please go find a dictionary in your moms library.
That’s what you missed on Glee stupid? When was finchel not toxic? They literally broke up 10 times in the show...klaine was not "toxic" in the start..they became the new finchel when Cory died and because of that they made them more problematic in the later seasons, for drama lol. Santana manipulied Santana the entire realitionship, well...that what we can see..because they had literally noooo screentime, they were the most boring couple(more then tina and mike) and Santana is the worst character, she doesn't deserve Brittany (not even friends) it has a reason that klaine is 100x more popular than brittana lol
My unpopular opinion that will trigger you (pls dont kill me): Brittana was a horrible couple, i never shipped them and i forgot they were even together 90% of the time. Took me about 4 seasons to get used to them. Santana should have ended up with Dani or even quinn
all of them are true but the darren criss one he was an amazing voice no matter what and he’s not a bad actor he couldn’t pick how his character was DONT COME FOR DARRNE LIKE THAT
This is lowkey really rude.. All of the cast members are really talented (including Darren and Lea). I love their voices and Blaine's character. I'm not a huge fan of Lea or her character but she's talented. Also, I feel like Finn had good character development. You are entitled to your opinion but I don't think you have to be so mean about it lol😂💕
My turn: the Unholly Trinity deserved waaaay better, specially in season 2 and 3. They should have focused on Quinn feeling aimless after her pregnancy and brittana hook-up instead of just shoving it all for last episodes of season 2 it looked like the writers really didn't know what to do with Quinn after season 2. The quinntana hook-up was super random, it was not out of character for both of them, but why do that if you're not gonna take it foward? Also should have seen more of them as FRIENDS. Also how Quinn felt about her two best friends dating?????
I absolutely LOVE season one but whenever I rewatch the show I prefer 2 and 3 Tbh I love all 1,2 and 3 but after that glee just went completely downhill
these are the facts america
Lol, are you drunk? Nothing on this list is true lmao
if I were would you be like Blaine and try to force yourself on me?
EL OH FUCKING EL!!!! Excellent response!!! 😂😂😂♥️♥️😍
ohh my bad I forgot about that I guess attempted assaulted is ok when you're drunk thanks!
And that's how Sue C it
I hate how they made Sam so dumb in the fourth season. He had so much potential in season 2 then all of a sudden they just made him the comedic relief. And don’t even get me started on Bram...
Why not? Do you have some strong feelings towards them.
AliWal omg I know he was so genuine and had so much potential and then thy tried to make him dumb?
YES! his and Mercedes’ relationship could have gone somewhere if they hadn’t dumbed his character down
He's still my favourite. But Noah is a close second
As much as I love Samcedes (probably my 2nd fave ship in the whole show as Brittana), they should have stuck with their original goal of making Sam Kurt's love interest. They had the BEST set up for it and you can't tell me Sam doesn't RADIATE bi energy
Jonathan Groff was one of the best male vocalists on the show
I don't think that would be an unpopular opinion, would it? Because he was one of the best male vocalists on the show.
@@gk891 the opinion wasnt meant to be unpopular. Just stating it
@@leapittmon8626 Oh ok. I guess I thought that you thought it would be unpopular was because this is an unpopular glee opinions video. But I definitely agree with you that Jon was indeed one of the best male vocalists on the show.
Lea Pittmon period
F A C T S
another opinion which idk if its unpopular or not: the writers really ruined tinas character from s4 onwards
yea for sure. Hate how she got annoying :/
@@margaretnassuna she was such an amazing/underrated character in seasons 1-3 but afterwards they just butchered her! Tina had so much potential
kristina periodt! Like she had so much potential to grow even more with the older members moving on, but they just took the wrong turn for her 😔
Not unpopular tho
They literally mixed Rachel brattiness (expect people actually call her out on it), Quinn’s manipulation, and Santana rudeness without the good insults, stir together in boiling hot water and get the hot mess that writer made for her. They honestly didn’t know how to write shy characters so they just made her a extrovert and did what I mention above.
I understand most of these but YOU DO NOT COME FOR DARREN CRISS
Bliss CR I agree: DINT MESS WITH MY DARREN
um dude he's homophobic, transphobic and the list goes on🙄 literally look up darren criss problematic and you can find so much shit on him. he's awful
ally likes broadway there's nothing funny about transphobia or racism. i don't care that they were "jokes"
@@jiya-jn6bb .....he's not. most of the things on that old tumblr post were taken out of context and he even apologised for it.
And also i think Will was kinda responsible from Rachel being such an egoist, egocentric character, i'm pretty sure that if he had stoped her in season 1 she wouldn't be like that
And this escene is the prove, he would put her in her place in that moment and everything
czcams.com/video/bkPAj7IuaPk/video.html
Even season 1 he put her in her place but she never took it seriously
He didn't go to broadway so he can coach glee club he always put the glee kids 1st and helped them alot even though the relationships between the teachers/coaches and theire pupil are kinda strange
i really like the rocky horror episode. i don't understand why people hate it but i guess everyone has their own opinion and taste
indy it was just really boring and slow paced
Libby Wood I agree, but I still really likes the episode. Especially the music.
Sameee i love the episode
The whole episode was Will Schuester being a terrible person. He went after a taken woman. He was going to perform a sexual song with a 16 year old and he made Sam insecure about his body so he would leave the show
@@danisnotonchairs3561 i do agree with you. Will as a character was a whole mess and there's a lot of questionable things that happened throughout the show but i found out now that i only liked it because of the songs 😂 yet i understand your point
AGREED.
in addition, mine are:
1. sam was super underrated and actually likable in the beginning, but then strangely adopted a new personality in later seasons...? wasn't as likable anymore
2. rachel and finn are actually good together, but because they're both so annoyingly unlikable that the other characters are too good for them
3. quinn deserved better
4. healthiest, most mature relationship was brittana
5. sue had some really good points
6. becky was annoying af
7. ridiculous that rachel got into nyada and kurt didn't... she messed up her audition and her make up song wasn't enough to forget her failing the first time
8. santana was actually one of the most caring people on the show
9. mercedes was the star
10. mercedes/santana duets were the best
i dont think Sam has changed, I mean, I think he won more screentime then we see more of him but in my opinion he is one of the best characters, most of the male characters were problematic but sam even with the "change" continued a good boy. he treated mercedes / quinn / brittany / rachel and even santana how they deserves to be treated and he was a good friend to blaine. besides small things he did like the little conversation he had with the marley about being poor. he is a great character i love him
Thank goodness someone said it about Becky, she was sweet and funny in the beginning, but after a while I couldn't stand any scene she was in because of her rude nature to everyone
THANK YOU
Don’t come after Becky
I agree!
I actually liked Sugar Motta. She was hilarious and very chill.
ok but like yasss one of my faves 💞 she deserved better
It became toxic and really forced in the later seasons, and just overall quite annoying.
and you can't forget the rapey tendencies😭
IKR LIKE I THOUGHT THEY WERE ADORABLE AT FIRST then i hated them after s4
and blaine was somehow a junior for like 3 years
OKAY BUT WHOEVER PLAYED JAKE HAS AN ANGELIC VOICE

Unpopular Opinion: Mercedes will always be better than Rachel.
Honestly don’t think it’s underrated lots of people think Mercedes was a better person and singer then Rachel to be honest
ok but like....they have 2 different styles, you can’t compare the two because of what style of music you prefer. both have powerful voices.
Period
@@oliviafairley4351
No you can definitely compare because Amber kills broadway songs too which are Lea's specialty
i really need to speak to who lied straight to your face.
I've always thought that Artie/Kevin should've been the male lead vocalist His voice is amazing alsooooo i loved the troubletones i wished they had more justice
Edit: when santana was outed i literally cried and i hated finn for awhile
Coming from some one who deals with the same problems, I think it's a shame how Marley's eating disorder was only a point for one episode. Considering they spent an entire bloody season on Will and Terry's imaginary baby, they could've continued with that plot a bit longer. Same with her being poor.
the problem with Marley's eating disorder is that once it came out to light, it was never even adressed again: and even worse, Kitty got away with it
@@beatrizabdallah7858 we never got to see the effects of it long term. As if eating disorders are something that goes away as quickly as a common cold
Ok so here goes my unpopular Glee opinion: Dianna Agron is by far the best actress on the show ( like if you agree) :)
Martina Lopez Vangeli I definitely think shes the second best actor on the show. Im biased towards naya.
@@dwtsglee Naya is great and I also think Heather Morris is a good actress
Martina Lopez Vangeli Agreed. Te actresses for the Unholy Trinity were bar far the best on the show.
This deserves more likes but unholy Trinity are the best
JohanandJonas Capulong YES! they are a trinity for a reason!! they really carried most of the show
finn literally said the f slur and everyone forgave him so fast 😳
RIGHT
The show had a weird obsession of putting Finn in situations where his actions are kind of understandable if they were one off, but because they kept doing it he built up a pattern of behavior.
Mike ?
Joe is the most underrated, his voice is one of the best in the show
JOE HAS THE BEST VOICE OF ALL OF THEM. Like actually the BEST voice out of the guys
#MattRutherfordDeservedBetter2020
1. Agree! A great tribute to the classic
2. Yeah, the really screwed Jake over in season 5.
3. Meh, more performances would have been nice but the ND deserved the regional win.
4. Disagree
5. (And Jonathan Geoff, but he was a guest star so you may not counted him)
6. Disagree but the balance between Ohio and NYC could have been done a lot better
7. PREACH!
• DancingRick101 • tbh I don’t understand what I said before now Blaine really isn’t a good character 🤦♀️and I’m thinking about it for Finn too
Favour Jenna Apart from Kurt and Sam there aren’t really any glee male characters that have redeeming qualities for when they pull something shitty lmao.
• DancingRick101 • tbh even Sebastian and Jesse were better and they were supposed to be evil💀
Sue is a fashion icon. You can never predict what she'll wear. Will she wear the red tracksuit or will she wear the blue one? She's the gucci of Glee.
i’m gonna have to call police for whatever you said about darren criss and klaine
Omg I got so pissed when I heard this in the video I’m glad I have fellow Darren Kriss and klaine supporters
Already someone gets me
**atleast
THANK YOU. THESE RIGHT HERE ARE FACTS. I appreciate you
mikaylamusic same
I believe that they messed up having Jake cheat on Marley. They were such a great couple
I only like season 3 for Rory and Joe lmao. And, well, Tike short times(?
Agree with everything you just said !!!! Especially about season 2 being your favorite, it was glee's peak
@@user-nx1vh4ej9q the episode where they all got drunk is my favorite!
You are so right !
Charlotte Higgins when you’re homophobic and ableist, you’re trash. Plain and simple.
@@dwtsglee i think the writers messed finn’s character up honestly.
@@charlottehiggins2142 you can’t claim that the writers ruined a character when he was exhibiting these behaviors from the first season.
@ツAnne i mean, he seems less homophobic in season 4 but he also reveals himself to be ableist so….
i think the first half of season 3 was really good and they tried some different storylines with other character e.g. mike, santana ect. but the second half was literally all about rachel it was SO annoying
I agree that darren is pretty aversive at singing, but he is damn talented still! and I don’t agree with you saying he can’t act, I actually think he was one of the best actors of glee, I just didn’t really like his character.
He is the best singer ever tf
I’m agree with you
I agree. He had so much emotion and was just all around a great actor
Funny how she says he's a bad actor when he actually won a Golden Globe...
But season 3 and 4 he became one of best singers on show and i was really sad that he didn't get a solo season 4 cuz it was the peak of his voice, however on the first two seasons wasn't great i just call it bs when people say Puck was better when that's not true at all
Blaine is really really overrated, and I feel like I don't even have to explain it-
Also I think Sam is way to underrated
Sam is not underrated. He’s valued on a good level. He’s not overrated nor underrated.
Unpopular Opinion: The best running gag in the show was Brittany liking bad performances
Example: Sugars Audition
I agree. Cough Syrup and Teenage Dream did as well
Yeah, people are too quick to say a voice is good or bad rather than suited to different situations.
Omg I love Cory / Finn
Yes. KURT. DESERVED. BETTER
If you don’t understand why Darren has an Emmy you should watch the show he got his Emmy for. You can’t tell me that Assignation of Gianni Versace was an awful performance..
Like I agree with the stuff about Blaine’s Character flaws buttt
My fav season is season 3, Idk why, I just love it
Have you even watched ACS: the Assassination of Gianni Versace? Darren was INCREDIBLE as Andrew Cunanan and he deserves all the awards
I have seen it. And he was not incredible. Very mediocre. Better than what he was in Glee but that’s not saying much.
@@dwtsglee lol it seems like you just don't like him and that's all, a mediocre actor does not win an emmy, a golden globe, a critic's choice and a SAG just saying
@@saramunoz5805 true
@@saramunoz5805 say it a little louder for the people in the back !!!
Darren Criss’ stuff outside Glee is fantastic. I prefer him playing a serial killer tbh 😂
Kitty was the best leader of the new directions
Kevin/ Artie has the best male voice, PERIOD
i personally don't agree that finn is an awful person. i get he's done some bad things, but that is what seemed like the right thing in his mind. he never realized certain things, like outing santana, were bad because he just wanted to help and fix things. he was naive to how his action could hurt people and let his emotional take control over his rational thinking.
Ok so my unpopular opinion is that Mike Chang was actually a good singer. The writer just didn’t give Harry Shun Jr. much of a chance to sing and Mike deserves so much better
But overall, I definitely agree with all of these, especially 9, 3, and 1; Klaine was toxic as hell, and yes, Finn was an asshole. And NO ONE deserves to be outed. The fact that santana not deserving to be outed is an unpopular opinion is disgusting
1. he is not a good singer.
2.klaine is not more toxic then every other couple in the show so fu 🙃
3. Santana deserved the outing and Finn is one of the best characters
Byeee
I wouldn't say Mike was a good singer but he was far from a bad singer. I liked his tone and his voice had better resonance than some of the other characters.
I agree that he was held back and deserved better though. My theory is that because he completely outdances the other male characters so he was written as a bad singer on purpose to ensure that he stays in the background. That way, he doesn't upstage the other male characters in any way.
@@hethkloooholla2415 NO ONE deserves to be outed. If you think Santana does, then you are an absolutely horrible person.
You're saying that in 5 seasons where he got more than 30 solos and more than a 100 songs glee didn't do justice to his voice??
I never personally liked season 3 for the writing but I think it’s so beloved because it has some of the best performances of the series.
My season ranking:
3-4-2-1-6-5
With Mercedes, Quinn, and Kurt as my favorites.
I'd say Quinn is in third with character development
Not really. The whole fandom agrees Puck has the best character development, and everyone pretty much forgets Karosfky, but i think there's no need to rank them
Okay, I agree with a lot of these, but do NOT come for Darren Criss like that
fr fr
“At the ballet” is not even in top 500
I agree, I mean I liked season 2 klaine when they were both in the warblers and their relationship was just starting out, but when Blaine moved to Kurt's school it kinda just went downhill
We all know who the best people in the show really were, some are my opinion but, Santana was there for anyone she loved at anytime. Mercedes and Mike were always there for the glee club despite having such bright futures in dance and music. I love Kurt, but that's because of how funny his sarcasm is
I agree, no one deserves to be outed.
(Also, does anyone else get annoyed when people who hate Jake for cheating and pressuring Marley fawn over characters like Blaine, who attempted to sexually assault Kurt when he was drunk, as well as cheated on him and blamed him for it?)
#13 : I mean, of course.
YES , I’ll say it again THE TROUBLE TONES DESERVED BETTER 😍
#1 yes yeah and yes! I don't care if Klaine is supposed to be "endgame" or whatever. Kurt is currently living his best live with his boyfriend Elliott in NYC while Blaine is still in Ohio doing...stuffs.
I actually agree with a lot of these. Especially about how Season 1 was the best! It had the best storylines hands down and the music was fantastic too, especially the regionals setlist!

#1 - DISAGREE - KLAINE IS MY FAVE COUPLE
I agree with everything but Darren Criss being overrated mainly because he started from such simple beginnings and then became this amazing Broadway actor. Everything else I 100% agree with.
i agree with all of them, but there's one more u can maybe add to ur list
i really feel like santana's come out was forced and rushed by everyone from glee, especially finn
I really like that you included Finn being a human trash can as one of your opinions. I never liked him, but most opinions really favour him and I could never understand why.
4:05 FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT! I don't understand why people hate it so much. I love it
Thank you!The trouble tones were so much better than the New Directions...their performance was empowering and stunning and the new directions performance reminded me of what they perform in birthday parties at McDonald's for seven-year olds
I’d honestly love to watch the Blaine show
hahaha same
That's rough
Here are my unpopular opinions:
- Finnchel were the actual villains of the show and none of them deserved to be the leaders, plus it was super annoying that they always got away with the stupid stuff they did/said
- Will Schuester was creepy at a whole other level ever since the first season
- Finn's voice and character was overrated (Cory was amazing tho)
- Heather Morris is an amazing actress, even though at first she was just supposed to be a leading dancer on the show
- Why the hell was Rachel there during the "I kissed a girl" performance???
- Kevin is great, but Artie's character was pretty annoying and mysoginistic as hell
- Tina's character had a terrible development: she became super stuck up and she was just trying so hard to be like Rachel Berry. It wasn't even funny
- Had they been straight (or bi lol), I think Blaintana would've been awesome
- Klaine was one of the most toxic couples on the show
- The whole Beth thing was probably one of the dumbest storylines, as well as Terry's fake pregnancy
- Despite the circumstances, Becky should've definitely had some kind of punishment after bringing a gun to school and making everyone think there was an actual shooting
- Quinncedes friendship deserved way more screentime
- People claim Quinn was a bitch, but Kitty was way worse, and Bree was the worst of all. I can't believe people actually saw her as the "new Santana Lopez"
- "Nationals" should've been the actual final episode
- The puppet episode should've never happened
- Jesse was despicable
- Santana and Mercedes carried the whole damn show: they were the best vocalists and it pisses me off how the writers really tried to make us think that the ND were better than the Troubletones
- Santana and Dani's relationship could've been awesome: they had just too little episodes
- Finn DID out Santana, and it makes me mad that he was seen as a hero after all what happened
- The only newbies I liked were Marley and Unique. The rest of them (on season 4 and afterwards), were super plain and even annoying
- Coach Beiste's transition storyline could've been handled wayyy better
- Holly Holiday was actually iconic and I can't believe people disliked her. Also, Holly and April were hilarious together
- It would've been interesting if Rachel had ended up single (also, what the hell were the writers thinking when they put Rachel and Sam together?)
- Sam was a lovely boyfriend: he deserved so much better
- There's no way you can convince me that Quinn was straight lmao
- Glee was a super biphobic show
- Mike and Tina should've been endgame
- I hated Kurt's voice and I always thought his performances were the most boring on the show
Troubletones>>>> New directions
Trash can>>>> Klaine
That’s what you missed on Glee yeah, your wrong
New directions>>>>troubletones (that's why they one)
Trash can >>>>jelaous brittana stan
Klaine is the most popular couple on the Show with a reason lmao
If we’re talking about ruined characters, only one thing comes to mind:
Tina
Cohen
Chang
No one in glee is innocent
My unpopular opinion that will trigger you (pls dont kill me):
Brittana was a horrible couple, i never shipped them and i forgot they were even together 90% of the time. Took me about 4 seasons to get used to them. Santana should have ended up with Dani or even quinn
Aww cory looks adorable with glasses
i really do agree that klaine is trash and alex and kevin are such underrated vocalists i love them.
all of them are true but the darren criss one he was an amazing voice no matter what and he’s not a bad actor he couldn’t pick how his character was DONT COME FOR DARRNE LIKE THAT
how do i agree with every single opinion? do we share the same brain? especially the blaine thing. i don't understand the overwhelming love for him
This is lowkey really rude..
You can be talented while still being overrated.
Dave had such a beautiful story. It makes me sad that people still hate on him. He was my fave
U are literally GOD, I am obsessed with this video, you are so right !!!
I agree that the troubletones deserved better and I love season 3
My turn: the Unholly Trinity deserved waaaay better, specially in season 2 and 3. They should have focused on Quinn feeling aimless after her pregnancy and brittana hook-up instead of just shoving it all for last episodes of season 2 it looked like the writers really didn't know what to do with Quinn after season 2. The quinntana hook-up was super random, it was not out of character for both of them, but why do that if you're not gonna take it foward? Also should have seen more of them as FRIENDS. Also how Quinn felt about her two best friends dating?????
I absolutely LOVE season one but whenever I rewatch the show I prefer 2 and 3
Tbh I love all 1,2 and 3 but after that glee just went completely downhill
