- Situated about 90 minutes south east of Exmouth is Giralia Station. In this episode we continue our Big Lap of Oz spending a week on the tidal beach flats of the Exmouth Gulf at Giralia Station. This is what travelling full time around Australia is all about with remote beach camping, campfires, fishing, heaps of room and a whole lot of relaxing. We had such a great time here and will be back for sure!
Fantastic spot. I've stuck this one in my notes to remember
Great channel but would love to see how rough these places are to get in
Just so punters can assess whether they are capable
Hey Peter, yeh we are trying to get better at that when we head into tricky places, most of the time we forget to film it! Thanks for the feedback and we will try and make a note to include the ease of entry on future episodes.
Beautiful place, absolutely amazing video Vlog 🤩
Thanks! Was good to have a nice chill week on the beach.
Hopefully that shovel nose survived that body slam on the beach. Did you end up blowing up the kayak while there?
Yeh, when I watched the video initially I thought I could have a little more gentle in the release! Was a bit heavy but the ray swam away strongly so will hopefully be fine. Did not end up blowing up the kayak as we spoke to others there with boats and were told the good fishing was 10km out, other than that, what u get off the shore and off a boat are the same. So kept it all packed up! 👍🍻
@@VetinaVan yeah probably could've done your back bending with it, did look awkward to hold.
Wowzers!! 😜That is,(I think) the most and loudest I have heard from Tania in all I have seen from you guys! 😎
Love it!
Man….. your video and photography are absolutely gorgeous 👍
Love the relaxed and unpretentious attitude 😉
Love your work.
Travel safe.
Cheers 🍻

Haha, yeh mate, it was a hard fight to allow that intro to see the light of day believe me. I'll get Tania in front of the screen vlogging it up eventually! Baby steps! 🍻👍
Mint setup mate , we we're camping down in bay 16 with the little air opus same time as you . I think you had the best spot out of the lot me and the wife we're jealous haha!
Good luck with the channel I think you guys are going to grow fast 🤙🤙
Thanks Guys! Yup we got pretty lucky with our spot, fishing was really good and heaps of space. I remember seeing you guys as we came through, gota love some of these spots! Safe travels and see you on the road!
Top spot
Yup! Pretty much ticked all the boxes!
The boys wild reaches say mud mussels are one of the best eating.
See NJD catching mudcabs, he shows how to tie up easy way.
Loving your adventures, hey, have noticed your 'moon' chairs...can I ask how you find them and do they weigh much?
Hey cath, yup they are heavy, take up too much space and completely impractical.... but damn they are comfortable... we have had them for like 10 years and didn't have the heart to leave them behind! We also bought some expensive compact chairs.... and don't use them.... 👍🍻
@@VetinaVan sounds like something i would do, good on you!
You show the wife youngbloods and how he's done. The boat he got. And then show her trip in a van Cape yoke trip. When father and son did the over night turtles.
