This is primarily a biopic, it just happens to be about a famous female war correspondent who did war photos, in a time when women didn't do that. It's set in the twentieth century, which saw more wars, than every previous century, to that time.

Terrific actress for a movie about yet another personality from the Second World War era that needs to be known much more. I do hope that they'll try to show Lee after the war also in the way that she was coping with what she saw and experienced during it. That's my hope for the movie

War movies that are coming out right now seem to be poor timing with all things considered. Do we really need another war movie? I'll pass.
It is people like you, who pretend things do not happen, who are responsible for the ongoing conflicts. Those who have had to fight never want to have to do so again, you who have never fought make threats at the drop of a hat.
At what time s8nce movies have existed has it been the "right" time? That's utter nonsense. Its a story about a famous photographer. Not necessarily war movie. Exactly when was it ok? 5 years ago when the literal world was f7ghting isis and Russia was bombing Syrian hospitals and aid stations? Or was it 10 years ago when NATO waa in Afghanistan and Iraq? Or was it 20 uears ago wuth the same areas? Hiw about 35 years ago with the 1st gulf war? The 80s with the cold war or the 60s and 70s that were some of the worst fights in human history? Maybe the 50s with the Korean war or heck, how about during WW2 or WW1? At this time in world history, we are actually at more peace than we have had since before WW1. Or is it because Jews and Muslims are fighting each other? Can't be. They've been fighting each other since 1947 or so.
