    Hi Sopie,
I‘m interested in the Chanukka-Menora. We learned about it in school when we visited the nearby „Synagoge“ (I don’t know the correct English name) but I forgot the ritual. How does it work? Do you lit the middle candle on the first day and each day a new candle is added, lit from the first/middle candle. Are the lit fron left to right?

Yes on the first night you light the taller candle called the shamash usually on the end or the middle and use this to light one candle for each night of Hanukkah . For example on the fourth night you’d light the shamash and then 4 candles .

You put the candles in right to left but light them from left to right
