I've been looking for a full, clear version of that commercial. Is it in this video? Can't find it. Is it anywhere else on youtube besides the blurry one on preview ch? Thanks

1:13:12 Funny how TBS was referenced in the ad, even though at the time it wasn’t operating as a cable channel in Atlanta, but as a broadcast station that so happened to serve as the superstation’s originating local feed.

That Sparkles commercial (at 5:18) used the same typeface as on NWA World Championship Wrestling at the time.

the impression I get from these ads is mostly... desperation. the ad insists "you'll LOVE EVERY ONE". it's a relentless optimism re:consumerism. compared to today's ads, well I cant quite put my finger on what the difference is. marketing has always been desperate, and always will be. but it seems more honest in this form.

Why did catchy jingles with people's real non auto-tune voice go out of style? It bothers me to no end.
